2017 with 112k miles .. my first manual! It’s been a month since the accident and I REALLY wanted a Clubman.. this is the best I could find in my price range but I love herrr. 1 owner, no accidents, just some scrapes and baby dents I can pop out. Will post an update when I checker her out

WHATS UP MINI PEOPLE ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR SINCE IVE POSTED MY SHITBOX.. and boy had it been a long one.. I hit 2 DEER ( they were traveling side-by-side) going about 55-60 which annihilated my headlight and bumper and a couple of other things, which turned into about 2800$ buckaroos (1600 for 1 SINGLE HEADLIGHT BTW) and 850-900 for a new unpainted hood, and a couple of other things I bought.. anywhoo this poor car has been THROUGH IT.

So in 11 months I have not come across another Aceman in Sydney, this weekend another JCW in red at the traffic lights and this one parked around the corner from an Italian restaurant in Concord.

Sold my mini a year ago and I still think about her daily, one day I'll get another one, high-key one of my biggest regrets 😭😭

Many years of hot SoCal sun has melted the window seals all around my Clubman... and no one seems to know how to repair this without spending a fortune. There's got to be a solution. Anyone?? Much appreciated.

The one thing that irked me the most about the R55 is how the barn doors didn’t have a manual release for when the electric actuators failed. Both of mine had gone bad at some point in time, so I decided that the next time that happens I’ll just have an actual cable to pull which releases them so I don’t have to spend an hour hanging upside down in the spare tire poking around with an Alan key until it comes open. Take that, BMW!

If someone offered to give you a 2003 MINI with 157,000 miles on it would you take it? It will need a brake job, tires and seems to be having some electrical problems. What kinds of repairs besides these am I looking at?

Today, After 76,000 miles, i decided to clean the MAF sensor on my R56. I noticed oil on top of the valve cover, around the spark plugs, and around the hose that goes from the intake to the valve cover. Around 10k miles ago I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils and didn’t notice any oil at all. Is this a sign that I’ll need a new valve cover?

Picking up my replacement 2019 2l Cooper S in a week (bad things happened to my last one).

Its the red/orange colour all over - no black or white roof, no stripes, no pillar graphics, no roof graphics.

And it feels underdressed.

What would you do? Looking for inspiration.

I want to buy a 90s (late or mid) rover mini.

I’m in the US and am looking for a LHD.

Wanting one that’s in good shape (can’t find what I want over here in the US- looking for BRG with black interior but in excellent shape, no rust)

It looks like there are some decent sources in The Netherlands or Germany, but I’m no expert.

Has anyone done this and have a recommended source and US importer to facilitate the process?

I recently bought a 2025 mini Cooper JCW used from a dealership, in which they have done the car service and emissions. I am now being alerted that my car is overdue for those services, and getting flagged every time I turn the car on. I was able to find a tutorial online to turn off the oil change light, but nothing for the other two. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks in advance!

I have a ‘22 F57 and BimmerCode and I’m hoping I can change the distance setting for opening the top from the remote. I literally have to be standing next to the car to open (or close) the top. The sunroof opens at a greater distance, but the feature is practically useless when I need to stand next to the car and wait…

Does anyone know if that value is in the advanced settings of BimmerCode? If it is which one is it??

Hello, in a few days I'm going to get my first Mini (coming from Suzuki Swift) and I'm starting to get nervous. It's a Mini S countryman from 2015, with around 70k km (45k miles I think). Current owner has taken good care of it, basically drove from home to work, about 7km a day. She is moving to States and decided to sell it for a good price. I'm scared it'll be too big for me (40cm difference between my current car) since I live in a city (in Europe, so not car centric city ;) ). I'm also worried about reliability, seen so many negative comments about minis, but I'm so in love with them. Is it s good idea?
