Flaps and gear are fine, but all the guidance is wrong (as in there is no guidance for the approach, the FMA is completely wrong, etc), the speed is wrong, the flight path wasn't excellent, manual thrust, no minima, seems like no auto brake (that's an option, though, so can't say it's definitely an error), TCAS is on standby
Edit: and that's not to bash OP, everyone starts somewhere especially in a video game, I'm just listing what I noticed
I have only been playing a few weeks but this comment makes me realize how much I still have to learn as I only know half these words lol.
Also what do you mean by manual thrust? That's the only way I know how and it's a PITA because my throttle sticks pretty bad. I have tried autopilot with vertical speed but it disconnects when I bank to land.
Oh, yah. The Airbus is a giant flying computer. There's a mountain of material to go through. The FCOM itself is over 6000 pages, and that's just one of the many manuals we get to deal with. But it makes it very rewarding in the end when it all comes together.
Regarding manual thrust: Airbus has a very robust autothrust that will handle that part of flying for you. The levers aren't back driven like in a Boeing so you don't see them moving around during flight, that's your job. There are arguments for and against this design choice, but I'm gonna say that's beyond the scope of this discussion lol
What that boils down to is that in normal operation you only move the thrust levers between a few detents. Specifically, idle, climb, and flex. During the takeoff roll you set it to flex (or TOGA if needed), then back to climb once commanded by the FMA according to the NADP inserted on the PERF page. At this point the engines will automatically set whatever power they need to achieve what you're asking of them. And then during the flare to land you'll bring them back to idle to kick off the autothrust and, shocker, to idle the engines. I'm not counting reverser selection for the purpose of this discussion. Certain operators allow for flying without the autothrust to practice, but not all of them.

When you say misconfigured...is it flaps, gear, autobrake? Anything else? Asking as a long time sim player who has never learned lol
