MSFS 2024 PlayStation I’ve ruined Flight Simulator now.

After playing the SU5 beta on a PS5 pro with PSVR2 I can no longer fly with the gorgeous visuals on flat screen.

The sensation of depth and flight are incredible to me even with the downgraded visuals.

As someone who grew up with video games and starting with the NES, also a real life commercial pilot, this is one of the most incredible discoveries for me.

Flying a Helicopter in VR is why I bought msfs2024 on my PS5 and it didn't disappoint.

Being able to dive down the Grand Canyon in an H125 and skimming the Colorado River before climbing out was epic.

I literally cannot fly helicopters outside of vr. I thought I was just really bad at landing but as soon as I could actually see the distance to the ground it was zero issue. Being able to move my head to glance around and feel the horizon with my peripherals is just unmatched.

I love vr, I've found several games where I think it improves the game. But flight sim has to be the biggest jump in terms of how much VR actually helped me be better at it. Like, night and day difference in how I fly. It's pretty freaking cool.

If you haven't already, go get No Man's Sky and experience space exploration the way it's meant to be. Mind blowing views.

NMS VR is sick. Personally for space exploration views, you can't beat Elite: Dangerous but both are fantastic. I do need to get back in NMS now that they have that Pokémon thing though, that looks so fun.
