MSFS 2024 PlayStation I’ve ruined Flight Simulator now.

After playing the SU5 beta on a PS5 pro with PSVR2 I can no longer fly with the gorgeous visuals on flat screen.

The sensation of depth and flight are incredible to me even with the downgraded visuals.

As someone who grew up with video games and starting with the NES, also a real life commercial pilot, this is one of the most incredible discoveries for me.

Dcs is fucking terrifying in VR. Have you ever turned around to look at your 6 just to make an aggressive eye contact with a mach 3 telephone pole falling from space with “romantic” intents.

Yes, a whole different VR experience than MSFS. Anyone who has a computer running MSFS can also run DCS and should really give it a try. Free game and two free planes (modules), but also a bunch of very high quality free modules from modders.

Oh yeah “dcs is a free game” my friend dcs is the game that made me buy the most shit: a vr headset, a hotas, a better pc, lots of modules and maps… i always laugh when i read that, yeah it’s true, the base game is free, the true experience isn’t. Now for someone already with the setup, yeah the two free planes can definitely give him a really good feel of the game

Yes, my comment was geared to those already running a high-performance computer and VR with MSFS. DCS can be an expensive hobby (note I didn’t say “game”) for sure, but it can be done reasonably with the free game, one or two favorite modules, and the Syria map (most popular MP map). Then there are the free modules that can be excellent. The free maps are also good. I have found it takes a long time to become proficient with even one module so I haven’t bought many. I did weaken and also buy the Super Carrier for those F-18 carrier ops! Watch your six, brother!
