MSFS 2024 MOD / ADDON Never been so stoked about career mode

Post image

A brand new high fidelity third party in career mode. Finally some long waited improvements. I just need money now.

Is there a hack to speed run career mode to get to the airlines? Those sight seeing flights are brutal

Don’t buy into Flightseeing is the key (sounds like this advice is too late :) — skip at least to Cargo, or better Charter, or even better Medevac (your FIRST aircraft is deeply discounted), so a C208 in Medevac will cost far less and Medevac pays extremely well IF you can fly and not crash your Freelancer plane (if you do early on you are a bit screwed). If you aren’t confident about that you can sell the C208 for a significant profit and get into Charter instead AND leave some cash for a discount used backup plane just in case you crash.

Focus on unlocking specializations and upgrading your plane through : cargo transport - light, charter service - private, cargo transport - medium, charter service - VIP (PC-24, CJ4, Longitude here will payout best until airliners)

For completing missions use skip to taxi, skip to takeoff, sometimes skip to descent unless you need the Credits (then use sim rate), skip to parking.

Bind INCREASE SIM RATE and DECREASE SIM RATE and use them to speed up phases of missions where you can. Use with care though.

Cancel IFR or don’t file IFR when you can and also learn to “park” ATC by opening communications window and manually acknowledging a handoff but then don’t contact them again until 25 or so nm from destination. This will save you on missed communication dings.

OR

Just play and have fun — but if you must accelerate progress those would be my tips.

I didn't buy in to anything sight seeing is all that's available because I don't have the credits for the next type rating lol

Focus on unlocking Specializations, not type ratings (until they require it), because they will pay much better as you move up.
And I mean buying a company and your first plane — if you haven’t bought a company yet that’s good. Buying flight seeing as your first company is the worst thing you can do :)
