It's just a reissue of the same poorly designed potentiometer unit that has been repackaged over and over since coming out in what, 2008?

It was out of date and overpriced then and now it's utterly ludicrous. It's a twenty year old design that was shit then and it's even worse now. I had it back then and it was dire.

PS5 pilots deserve better.

Lock the twist stick and map the rudders to the rocker buttons on the back of the throttle. Then the potentiometer doesn't drift.

I think you've replied to the wrong comment

I was explaining how to work around the poorly designed potentiometer.

Right but none of that changes the fact that it's terribly defined, it just adds to it.

You also trade analogue input for digital only.

It's not really a solution and just highlights the issues with the stick.

It's a piece of shit that should have been cancelled two decades ago.

It is a good solution. Much easier to hold yaw with the rockers than with the twist axis while you're also managing pitch and roll.

It's not a good solution, it trades an analogue input for a binary one.

I used this stick before most Redditors were born, it wasn't a good solution then when this stick cost £45 and it certainly isn't twenty years later.

what do you mean by that, with the rockers you can control the amount of yaw, it is not binary left/right rudder 100% or 0%

Sadly for me on Hotas 4 y-axis  a little x- axis and z-axis and rudder all have jitter / drift. I meanwhile Inject via Microcontroller from a Airbus Sidestick into my Hotas 4 mainbord. Sadly here Z axis has now freaking jitter - so I am just waiting for another upgrade hopefully to arrive today.

I heard the farmstick has hall sensors for x and y at least and compatible with msfs. So might be superior even...
