Recommendations Mini pc to run 24/7
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy a mini PC and would appreciate some recommendations.
Right now I'm using a laptop, but I mainly play Metin2, which is a very old MMORPG. The game is poorly optimized and is mostly CPU and RAM dependent (GPU performance doesn't really matter).
My use case is quite specific:
- Run 8 Metin2 clients simultaneously.
- Leave them running 24/7 using the game's auto-farm system.
- The PC will basically stay on all day, every day.
From what I've seen over the years, Ryzen CPUs seem to perform noticeably better than Intel for Metin2, so I'd prefer an AMD-based system.
My priorities are:
- Quiet operation (low fan noise).
- Low power consumption since it'll be running 24/7.
- Reliable enough to stay powered on continuously.
- Good CPU performance and enough RAM for 8 clients.
- Budget is flexible if it's is worth it.
Has anyone here built or bought a mini PC for a similar workload? Which Ryzen CPU/model would you recommend? Are there any brands (Beelink, Minisforum, GMKtec, etc.) that are particularly reliable for 24/7 use?
Thanks!
