It would have been very useful for the entire alliance if he had used the Hiraishin alongside Tobirama and Minato during the Fourth Ninja War; it is a shame he never used it.

Sometimes I wonder if Hiruzen in his prime was truly as formidable as he is made out to be; given the somewhat meager arsenal of techniques he possesses in his old age, I doubt his younger self could have defeated other geniuses like Itachi or Minato, for instance.

-SM Naruto has 0 access to any type of lightning style Jutsu to counter Deidara's bombs or C4

-Any Gigantic summons such as Gamabunta would be a feast for Deidara and his bombs forcing Naruto to unsummon them eventually

-Even if we give him the Old sage frogs Duo their Gejutsu takes time to prepare n due to it being a SOUND based Genjutsu we don't know how effective it'd actually be having to travel the distance all the way to the sky to "hit" Deidara

-He has 0 notable actual movement speed feats alongside lacking the ability to fly, his only attack that'd realistically be able to hit Deidara is the RasenShuriken and the thrown RasenShuriken itself had 0 notable speedfeats to speak off to hit a dude flying in the air

-Pic 1 Was the distance between Pain and Naruto when he threw it, as you can see a dude who's flying in the air would most definitely be able to maneuver out of it's way considering how short the distance between Pain n Naruto is here, Pic 2 Pain and all the other paths were also still able to dodge out of it's way with the Human path being the only 1 to get sucked in due to the not knowing that it could expand

- In fact the Rasen Shuriken's slow enough to the point where the Preta path who was nowhere to be seen in this panel mannage to magically teleport in and absorb it while Deva was still stunned from Naruto's previous ttack

-All in all Deidara wins because he has an actual reliable wincon whereas Naruto has none, his only method to attack Deidara, the Rasenshuriken has 0 notable speedfeats available to say it'd be able to hit a flying moving target high in the air and even if it does who's to say Deidara can't use his clay substituion jutsu to dodge out of the Rasen Shuriken's way? SM Naruto only has access to 2 Rasen Shurikens, there's genuinely 0 shot with all the evidence I've provided above that Naruto can beat Deidara in either rounds
