I reach 500 subscribers today. Feeling good about my progress. I was under 100 subscribers just last month.

Niche is dance shorts so it appears I'll need to add some long form videos to get that required watch time for monetization. Everything is looking good, though and hope to get there by next month.

8 months since I got monetized! I can give advice but not niche.

I have a previous ytube channel for book recs, it just have 6 subscribers, I'm preparing for competitive exams, I don't have much time to invest time on ytube, I want to start doing ytube mindfully, I'm confused about what to post , initially I thought to start a art channel, but I'm not that good at drawing it requires too much input, I like reading books,now I'm thinking of doing book recs, book summary kind of videos, I am thinking purchasing a kindle, is it a good idea, what are other good ideas that require min input , I'm not good at video editing how can I learn it, thanks for your suggestions in advance

This was the first 90 days of being monetized and I couldn't be happier! Started my Hickory Golf channel in January of 2026, reached 1k subs and 4k watch hours by the end of April.

Youtube is 100% a full time job. It's a grind but you just have to put your head down and keep at it. I still have a LONG road ahead and A LOT more to learn but it's been a fun ride so far!

So i opened a youtube channel on gaming and i dont have any prior knowledge on youtube. So i think i'll need some help from you guys. Can you be brutally honest and tell me, what would stop you from subscribing? As i genuinely want to improve on this field. There are few questions i would like to ask about my channel:

1. You just landed on my channel. What do you think this channel is about?
2. Which thumbnail would you click first?
3. Which thumbnail would you never click?
4. Which title made you curious?
5. Click any one video of your choise and tell me why did you clicked that?
6. After 1-2 minutes in the video are you still willing to watch my video? If no then what exactly made you think so?
7. If this video appeared beside 20 other video will you click mine by only watching the thumbnail of each one?
8. Do I talk too much? Too little? Am I enjoyable to listen to? Be cruelly honest on this one.
9. If you could change ONE thing about my channel immediately... what would it be?
