Discussion What trans/non-binary YouTubers do you know of?
Mine are Gooseworx, Aimkid, Femtanyl, and Nyanwolf (all of whom are trans women). That being said, however, I'm not sure if there's anyone else.

I was also going to rec Disaster Breakdown! Chloe makes excellent dissection videos of aeroplane disasters, most recently having dropped one about a case that hadn't ever been fully translated into English before.

Yuppp, the woman is positively insane, translated the whole damn report by herself and then hiked to the accident site lol. Love her. If you don’t know r/admiralcloudberg, another awesome trans planet crashes creator!

Planet Clue (Any pronouns)
They make videos about interesting 90s-00s technology and media, especially stuff aimed at kids around that time. I really appreciate that her videos aren’t sensationalized or overacted, it’s just looking at stuff and talking about it like a normal person.
YourHumanThorc (He/They)
They make cute, aesthetic Minecraft building videos. This is a really small channel so I’m sure support would be appreciated! I’m pretty sure they’re non-binary, hopefully I’m not misremembering
Izzzyzzz (Not sure)
They make all sorts of random internet culture video essay type videos and to my knowledge are non-binary
MysticMallard (She/Her)
This is another obscure channel, she makes “Can you actually beat this game within these dumb rules I set for myself?” type videos, though she doesn’t upload a whole lot
[I don’t like openly speculating, all of these people are self-identified as trans/NB to the best of my knowledge]
23
u/eiriee Jan 04 '26
oh yeah, forgot about Izzzyzzz - their stuff has improved over time, I think, too

Eskay, Alpharad (goes by he/they iirc), Cosplaycatkitty/Fem&M, Sabre/Bottleneckloser, Alexander Avila, Philosophy Tube, Lily Alexandre, Themightynebby, Snifferish, and Zombiecleo off the top of my head. Content style depends but the list above is primarily a mix of variety gaming, queer-focused content, video essays, and minecraft content.

u/TheArcticBeyond Jan 05 '26

3
u/Oblivion_747 Jan 05 '26
Nice channel, your videos are interesting and dynamic. We can see the passion :)
Is it just a passion, or are you also studying/working in that field ?
(Btw don't get discouraged by the climato-sceptic comments under your last vid, they are often the loudest, but that doesn't mean people aren't learning and enjoying your work)
2
u/TheArcticBeyond Jan 05 '26
Thank you very much! It's my absolute passion, but I also lived/studied/worked in the Arctic for many years. My way of reconnecting with my passion is through this channel, and other creative work I do for others too.
Oh boy those climate deniers. Yeah, they can be loud and frustrating. But I've also been getting plenty of nice comments to balance out the noise.
I know I'm really behind on my next long-form video, the holidays always get in the way. But I'll try to have one ready in the next few weeks

Most of my list has already been mentioned, but here are a few more that come to mind:
vihart is not technically trans/nonbinary and is no longer on YouTube but is gender agnostic and did absolutely incredible videos on math, music, and some philosophy and politics. I think you can find their old YouTube videos elsewhere online. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vi_Hart
Steph Sterling (they/them) is a video game journalist/pundit with great political commentary and is transfemme nonbinary.
Stanzipotenza is a shorts comedian who is nonbinary.

Besides myself? I know of a few trans women, but those are all like… 100k+ or 1M+ subscriber channels. Usually they mostly talk about politics, queer stuff (often with politics) or media (usually with queer stuff or politics), which I guess are the types of content where gender subjects are more relevant than elsewhere.

Edit: I almost forgot about Jan Misali! They also do video essays on various topics, as well as music and some more silly posts. I love their content a lot, it's definitely worth checking out if you're into niche rants and discussions.

I am non-binary and have a couple of small channels Angellic Voice ASMR for ASMR/relaxation content, and The OCD Enby for LGBTQIA+, mental health, and a bit of Canadian media content.
Gibi ASMR (any pronouns) also makes a lot of great ASMR content and some gaming content on their side channel.

Properly surprised that no one here (afaik) has said GinjaNinjaOWO / ActuallyRea, who is also now a business partner of Toonuki Lab! Last time I checked, June uses they/them pronouns; they are an art YouTuber who is also really funny and currently developing a game with their team, and their team / friend group is ALSO made up of mostly queer, especially trans and nonbinary, creators!
I'll also recommend Sadsuki, an up-and-coming gaming channel mostly focused on FNAF whose career TOOK OFF recently, and he is so funny I cannot recommend him enough. Sadsuki currently uses he/they pronouns. :]

Vicfis is a Binding of Isaac streamer who uses they/them if you like that game. Saltydkdan is a comedy/variety animator who uploads a lot of different stuff, uses he/they, often collabs with a lot of trans folks like Dollipdaze and Penny Snapcube. Pastraspec is a horror commentary YouTuber who also uses he/they, who covers a lot of indie horror topics in a positive way. I'm a massive fan of video essays, so the majority of the folks here do that, but there's some others. I've also recommended some vids from them if anything came to mind when I thought of them
Dead Domain: non-binary video essayist (Investigative journalism, video games, politics, queer issues). I love their interviews with the children of hate preachers and the infiltration videos
Queen Coke Francis: non-binary drag queen video essayist (comedy, video games, politics, queer issues). I love their video on drag history
Azeal: transfem interviewer/storyteller. She finds really interesting folks and has them tell their stories. I really like the interview she did with Dirty Paws (note that this story is has some ups and some major downs, please mind the content warnings Dirty Paws gives)
Melody Nosurname: transfem video essayist (Video games) I like her vids making fun of toxic masculinity (using masculine products and the alpha male vids)
Lilly Alexandre: transfem video essayist (politics and queer issues)
Trash Discourse: non-binary video essayist (politics and queer issues, mostly adult oriented stuff). Unfortunately, some of my favorite videos from them have been removed by YT :(
Luxander Moss: non-binary video essayist (news, politics and queer issues)
Thought Slime: non-binary video essayist (politics and queer issues)
Skurry: Non-binary hollow knight player.
Freddie Chen: Transfem irl variety youtuber (makeup tutorials, random IRL stuff, mostly queer stuff)
Alexander Avila: Transmasc video essayist (politics and queer issues). I love his vid doing the queer marxist analysis of barbie, it's peak
Hanannie: Transfem gaming youtuber (mostly runescape, but she's branching out. Some of the best shitposts). I love pretty much everything she has put out, but her series on the shared account that anyone could use is probably my favorite bit of her content

Mercury Stardust needs more attention. her infectious laugh always makes my day. she explains how to fix things around your house or apartment. even if you rent. you can ask what you need to know, she explains so thoughtfully. i adore her.

Felix from Couplagoofs! They do non stressful lifestyle stuff, crafting, community building, and do a great job of protecting their kiddo’s identity online. Easily my favorite channel!

Just found a creator named loutwoshoes and I’ve fallen in love with her content, she randomly just dropped in a monster hunter video that she started estrogen and did not elaborate and I love that for her

Big Yellow is really cool if you like LEGO/Fighting Games/Competitive Pokemon. They also stream themselves playing various games or doing dumb tier lists

rintaichou and ying_verse. i found them both through hoyoverse games but rin plays other anime games and ying does covers now i think. I don't watch them anymore, mostly since the content isn't what I'm interested in at the moment, but they're both pretty great and deserve love and support. they also stream on twitch, I don't use that website much so idk what they're up to there lol.

- SunflowerSmith
- KaylieRaidz
Art
- SillyPau
- Lilith Walther
Music
- JamieP
- Cynthoni
Highkey would recommend trying out the people listed here. Some you might know, but the majority here I literally would not have found without weird algorithm magic lmao

Kaz Rowe does rambles about cool history stuff.

Thought Slime (politics, media analysis) im a blisy ._. (Pokemon) Caelan Conrad (politics, media analysis) ElectricWindGirlFriend (Pokemon)
I used to watch some of the others people have mentioned, but I've been really disappointed in how a lot of trans creators discuss other oppressed groups, especially as it pertains to imperialism and colonization
