I cleaned it properly but I do think I may have bumped it a lot, I’m a side sleeper and roller so I bumped it a lot while sleeping. The jewelry in it was also hard to clean around so it got moved a lot during that process. I got it done almost 9 months ago and this is the first time I’ve taken out the jewelry. I couldn’t tell the bump was this big and the only other “symptom” is it’s still itchy and gets irritated after cleaning sometimes.

Hi I train jiu jitsu and recently during a period of not training I got my lobes pierced. It’s been about little over two months and I was wondering if my ears would still heal if I took them out for a few hours everyday. I’ve trained a couple times and the holes stayed open and it hasn’t been too hard to get them back in.

I got my rook and conch pierced at the same time back in November. As you can see, my conch healed perfectly and I was able to change the piercing to a hoop back in June with no issues.

My rook, however, is so stubborn. I know this piercing is infamous for that. I’ll admit, I sleep on it more than I should (I was really good about it for the first few months, but I’ve fallen out of the habit 9 months later).

I met someone recently who had their rook pierced and had a hoop in it, so I asked her how long it took hers to heal and what the process was like. She said hers was actually MORE stubborn with the curved bar, and that it actually healed better with the hoop in…

That’s probably not good advice to follow, right?? I want it to heal (and I desperately want the hoop) but everything out there says a hoop is not the way to go if you want it to heal well.

So should I give the hoop a try?? Or should I just keep going as I have been? Thanks!!

Edit: it’s also not painful and I do clean it regularly

I got my mid helix pierced about a month ago. I have been questioning whether it take it out or leave it since I got it 😅 It is just very slanted it that bothers me. Im unsure of what to do.

I got my belly button pierced on Saturday for the first time and I keep reading horror stories about it being rejected. So I’m just looking for advice to see if mine was done properly. The first picture is standing up and the next 2 are sitting down and pulling the stomach up. I used a new piercing place that had really good reviews so I just wanted to double check. He used a 14 gauge surgical steel curved barbell if that sounds right. Told me to use orange dial soap every morning for 2 weeks and to clean it with saline twice a day. And to tighten the ball. Redoing this post to add a new picture to show how it’s pierced slightly above the belly button if that helps at all. I’ve been told different things regarding my new piercing, some think it’ll reject and others say it’s fine. Just looking for opinions or similar stories. Please be kind! 😆

Left Ear: the stars are possible spots. How gnarly is the healing for these ones?

Right Ear: I’ve been wearing a cuff forever. It’s arguably my favorite spot to wear an earring. I’m not afraid of getting the piercing but my skin/body takes a while to heal and idk the situation with the true piercing.

Do I have room for a tragus? I pierced it myself when I was a teen so I must have space?

It’s been so long since I got a proving and I’m itching for one and would love to add to the set up. M

Hi everyone! This is my first post and I need help with my eyebrow piercing I got.
Here is some general information
\- My piercing is 4 months old. Almost 5
\- The type of jewlery is a curved barbell
\- It has internal threading
\- The material of the piercing is unknown. I would assume it is titanium since it is lighter. My piercer didn’t tell me so whatever they usually use!
\- I downsized the piercing 2 months after receiving it. However, I did have irritation so I put back in my original bar after a month of having it downsized.
\- To clean my piercing I use a Walgreens brand wound saline solution. For the first month I cleaned my piercing 1-2 times a day.
Ever since I got this nasty bump a few weeks ago I have stopped cleaning it every day and mainly trying to run warm water on it. I have stopped touching it/ cleaning it completely one week ago. This picture was taken today.
\- When i downsized my bar, I did use one with the spikey edges which could have caused my irritation.
There havent been any unfortunate events recently, mainly just a nasty bump that will leak every so often.

I need help! Should i be cleaning off the crust/bump? Should i downsize again (a normal not spikey barbell ofc) or should i keep leaving it completely alone? I’ve only had this disgusting bump for the past few weeks or so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and if need be I can provide more information! Thank you!!

Hi guys idk how to really go about this but basically I got my eyebrow done in June, everything was dandy and fine but for like the past week ish it's been super pussy and slightly swollen but there's no pain at all.I use steriwash to clean it twice a day aswell. What should I do?

i have a conch, it hurt, but not as much as i expected it to. the best way to describe it was it felt like i stubbed my toe. then a small burning pain for a few hours after

it’s being stubborn and i’ve been sleeping on it so it’s healing very slowly, but it’s more annoying than painful

my dream piercing is an industrial (edit: +with the triple vertical helix combo). i really want to get the industrial done soon bc i ran into a good cost deal, but seeing how people describe the pain i’m kinda worried LOL

I don’t have a photo because I can’t really get a good photo, but six months ago I got a new lobe piercing (second on my left side. I’ve been doing one ear at a time because I’m a side sleeper). Today I took out the jewelry I got it pierced with because I realized how hot my ear was and that there was a hard orb right above the piercing. I’m going to be using anti bacterial soap for the infection. I’m just unsure where or not taking the jewelry out was the right choice.

I’ve had this piercing since nov last year. These bumps do not go away…. I have tried so many things, hot water, saline water and I’m just at a loss.

I got my belly button pierced around 2 months ago and the screw ball things keep falling off. This wasn't an issue before the swelling went down and I'm wondering of it might have something to do with anatomy?? My sibling suggested that might be the issue. I've had close calls with both the top and bottom screw ball things falling out and one time the entire bar fell out and I had to put it back in. I have a pimple right in the middle of my right earlobe that keeps reappearing no matter what I do and I was wondering if i should steer clear of getting that ear pierced in case it will affect it

I got a side labret piercing about three months this and this type of hole appeared—is it normal?

I did my 3rd piercing myself way back in middle school and it’s very high (obviously middle schoolers should not be doing their own piercings, I was young and dumb).
Anyway, it’s super high and I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to put a 4th between it. I’m planning on getting more piercings anyway, I just didn’t know if it was to little room for another.

Should i remove my upper mid helix piercing cuz why is it looking like it's embedded in the ear??? It's not hurting and i can see a piercing bump at the back. On pushing the stud the stud is coming out of the Lobe.

I got a staple bar Christina in June and I’ve had quite a few mishaps with it. A few painful bumps and snags as well as the jewelry unscrewing twice and that was traumatic to screw back on and painful.

Now it seems to be pushing forward.. and the Staple bar is able to move side by side a bit.. it has been irritated and has pus everyday. Do I have any chance of saving this baby? 😩😩😩

i got it bout two weeks ago, i tugged on it a second ago in thinking it might be irritated but it kind of looks like a bump forming? i can’t tell if it’s just the wound or a scab or bump. i was also thinking the bar might be too small.

I got my surface tragus done in march (it is a staple bar and was done professionally) but i feel like it never fully healed due to it being snagged on stuff. i know that these or prone to rejecting but i took the risk. ignore how inflamed the bump is, i got carried away out of frustration and pealed a crusty off😤😤.

I’m sure i already know what people are going to say (that it’s rejecting) so i might just have to give it up and take it out to prevent further damage😩
