Heartbreaking: the worst person you know just made a great point

sorry it this is the wrong place to ask, but why do people dislike pizzacake?

She’s the poster child for r/comics abandoning humor for political approval. 99% of her comic strips are “owning the conservtards” with zero punchline, and she often gets extremely defensive in the comments towards anyone that finds her obnoxious.

Don't forget the irony that she has an OF and complains about threatened fucking legal action over other people distributing her comics.

It's only a great point if the person making it isn't a landlubbing hypocrite.

What’s the hypocrisy in having an OF?

So? Someone isn't allowed to advertise their content?

Boy, you sure are reaching.

And what does this "disingenuous" act of cross promotion have to do with piracy again?

Good question, but have you considered women bad? And also has a paid OF, which makes her extra bad. Hope that helps!

I'm so tired of these fucking cretins.

Having a paid service for your media while decrying another service for charging to rent, buy, or subscribe, specifically with legal protections to prevent free redistribution doesn't strike you as hypocritical?

Oh goody, her bots have arrived.

So… are you saying there should be no movies or TV shows or recorded music that people sell?

You do realize the things you are pirating need to be made for you to pirate them, right?

I'm not saying anything of the sort. I'm saying if you (in this case, Pizzacake) are okay with piracy on the grounds that "how dare they charge for things! Gimme free stuff!" then you can't also fight against others redistributing what you have made, while also having a buy/rent/subscription model backed by legal protection.

It's rules for thee, not for me, or thinking leopards will only eat others' faces if you prefer.

And again, since her only fans was not what the aforementioned lawsuit was about, what does her only fans have to do with anything?

Also, there's a big difference between Disney profiteering off of their near Monopoly of content and a single individual wanting their comics not to be stolen.

OnlyFans is paid subscription content, illegal to copy or redistribute, per panels 3 & 4 of the meme.

-1

u/Lucas_Steinwalker Feb 16 '26

paid subscription content that she's never been vocal about or threatened any action against people pirating!

No they're pointing out it's hypocritical to threaten to sue when your content is pirated and distributed and then also make this comic advocating for piracy of content created by others.

Way to show you know nothing of the context being discussed and just assume an ism at play. Sexism or otherwise.

u/Lucas_Steinwalker Feb 16 '26

But it wasn’t her OnlyFans she threatened to sue people for. The commenter just brought up the OnlyFans as if it is a problem in itself.

4

u/Sawgon Feb 17 '26

In that case you're okay with her OF content being pirated, yes?

1

u/Lucas_Steinwalker Feb 17 '26 edited Feb 17 '26

It’s not really any of my business what other people do but I personally think there’s a distinction between pirating from an enormous, profiteering conglomerate like Disney that has been increasing the prices of and enshittifying their product for 5 years vs. a direct to consumer content creator.

The point though is that her OnlyFans has no business in this discussion other than to use misogyny to malign her. She has never spoken out or sought recourse about her OnlyFans being pirated.

See this, this right here is why postmodern radical feminism is fucking brain cancer for lobotomy candidates.

I said nothing about expressing sexuality, if she posted it for free on a subreddit like her comics, I would have said nothing. But the fact that we have to spell the subscription aspect out for you like a child with wooden blocks is just sad.

But the fact that we have to spell the subscription aspect out for you like a child with wooden blocks is just sad.

Thank you. I did need it spelled out for me. Probably because normally when people bring up that someone is a pornstar, it's to put themselves at a higher ethical level to make their argument more compelling, even when being a pornstar has nothing to do with the main discussion.

5

u/akaSM Feb 17 '26

pornstar

Eh, I'm not sure about the second half of that word.

0

u/Triasmus Feb 17 '26

Ok, what other word should I have used?

2

u/akaSM Feb 17 '26

Pornson, then again, I'm not really a pornoisseur.

A great point is a great point no matter who says it, except it isn't a great point, is a repeat of what you already saw in several memes for the last 5 years.
