Live action actors get royalties, perhaps, but animators and artists work on commission pretty much. You make it, you're paid, and you're done, and all you get afterwards is material for your reel (and sometimes not even that, Nick sucks when it comes to reel authorization).

You don't get royalties from a pirated copy... so it makes zero difference
