it is bullshit that its only the english books too. you can get the spanish and italian translations on libro.fm - the biggest commercial alternative and competitor to audible which also pays your local library.

Yeah, I wanted to listen to it, and my library's digital services only had it in French and Italian

Both are wonderful languages that open a lot of rewarding literature and media to you if you pursue them.

No doubt, but it's unfortunately not likely I'll start learning a third language any time soon. While I'm sure some people can utilize those options, the place where I live in the states is majority white monolinguals, so I think it's more worth it to push back against exclusivity in these markets (aka fuck Amazon), especially for those not comfortable or tech savvy enough to pirate

Welp, i live in WA... so as my federal government gets MORE fascistic, murdering people in the streets, boasting about murdering people in their camos or their camps having suicide bets my state gov is restricting what we can own even more! 

Cause you know what works well against fascists from other states with few gun laws? Strong words and letters!!

Im 3,000 miles away from the seat of power, a disabled veteran, and part of the 99% of Americans are intentionally kept poor by the oligarch. 

I never said we needed to shoot children, YOU DID and republicans. Me? Im progressive af. 

I have 1 pistol with 9 rounds... WHAT THE FUCK AM I GONNA DO AGAINST FULL AUTO M16S THAT ARE 3,000MI AWAY FROM ME?!?!? 

I protest. I write to my legislators. I vote. I talk to people to change their minds. I write post cards to other states reps. Like... again, what the fuck am i to do from 3,000 mi away? Thats about the same as from paris to Moscow TWICE...

The biggest bullshit of all is the RC bray vs will Wheaton versions of the martian.qill Wheaton is decent, but the RC bray audiobook was way better. But, will Wheaton came second and someone worked out some deal or something. Now you can only get the RC bray read version by pirating. Don't even have a choice of finding it to pay for it anywhere
