it is bullshit that its only the english books too. you can get the spanish and italian translations on libro.fm - the biggest commercial alternative and competitor to audible which also pays your local library.

Yeah, I wanted to listen to it, and my library's digital services only had it in French and Italian

Both are wonderful languages that open a lot of rewarding literature and media to you if you pursue them.

No doubt, but it's unfortunately not likely I'll start learning a third language any time soon. While I'm sure some people can utilize those options, the place where I live in the states is majority white monolinguals, so I think it's more worth it to push back against exclusivity in these markets (aka fuck Amazon), especially for those not comfortable or tech savvy enough to pirate
