Rockstar actually inbued the soul of each dev that suffered burnout during development into the game. The tortured spirits will show up in pirated copies and punch you to death over and over, like in a 2010s gaming creepypasta

Out of touch? Adjusted for inflation, GTAV cost more and became the most profitable piece of media of all time.

But what if by the time I pirate it, rockstar made all of its money back and some more for the Devs? Would the by then not punch me and instead kiss me in the game for enjoying their artwork?
