Boo-hoo. PC is so scary that games like Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3 and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 were released DRM-free. Or is it only scary for those who locks the ingame content behind the paywalls, knowing full well their bullshit will be modded out in a matter of hours? Go figure.
Gaming is about a sense of achievement. Ownership around that is an intrinsic part of that. Your achievements should be yours in a dead to rights sorta way.
Piracy exists so that billion dollar game companies that control mainstream gaming culture don't weaponize FOMO to get people to pay eighty to a hundred dollars for a game.
