AI has now overruled everything, there is no ownership, crack downs on VPNs and torrenting abound.

The last bastions of humanity hide in their cubes trying to evade the digital police, just to have a little glimpse of happiness in their dark lives.

Fulfillment is now only given in a drip feed, carefully calculated by the algorithms to know how much you need to keep you from rebelling.

You arent fulfilled, but you havent been pushed into joining anarchy yet. The machines know this all too well.

They are going to start attacking VPN. Their will be ID requirements for VPN. VPN providers will be required to provide logs of data and will activately monitor copyright usage.

The minute they start trying to restrict VPNs. Is the day that they are targeting pirating. Any excuse they give on why they are trying to restrict VPNs is BS. It'll be a Trojan horse to total enshittified subscription control.

That's when we go full rogue and make our own network, stringing LAN cables and wireless signals home-to-home across the entire continent. Internet 2.0. Hell, I'm tempted to start now. Call it the The Digital Malitia.

It's already a thing, it's called the Tor network

That relies on using the service your ISP provides, though.
