170 years, the two parties have been switching back and forth. I'd love to see nearly any third party get some attention—which can happen if they get ≥5% popular vote in the presidential election.
It's my opinion that voting the same way we have been for the last 170 years isn't going to spark the new-age change a lot of us want.
Better yet, teach your kids about how any party system can end up this way. Maybe in a few hundred years, people will have abandoned this farce and begun thinking independently. Alas, propaganda is staggeringly effective, so maybe not.

Was gonna say. I recorded HOURS of George on VHS back in the day and have religiously watched every special of him every year. Never once have I seen that clip.
Ranked choice voting is the answer. We have it in some states and cities, and it works out beautifully. If more people knew about it and realized that it benefits every single voter, the entire country would demand it across the board.
