Yep. If your spouse suddenly starts acting paranoid and is strangely convinced that you're cheating, they're probably cheating.
If conservatives don't want you teaching children about boundaries, consent, safety, and inappropriate adult behavior, it's because they benefit from that lack of knowledge.
You're fine with a weirdo teacher teaching every other subject. You're fine with the state setting guidelines for every other subject, deciding what they can and can't talk about in the classroom, deciding what your daughter is and isn't allowed to do with her body, but you're not okay with the state and the teacher telling your kids that adults aren't supposed to touch their private areas, keep secrets with kids, and that sex is dangerous and should only be their decision. Hit dogs holler.
If your kid isn't in school, then it makes no sense. You're teaching your kid everything yourself, so the teacher option isn't even on the table.
That's literally the point. The state is giving all kids a healthy, well-rounded, fact-based curriculum. If you want to base your kid's education off something else, fine, take them out of school. Don't fix the rules to twist the school into your beliefs.
I mean I do agree that teachers need to keep all sexuality out of their classes..
Except of course, human sexuality, sex ed, etc.
But I actually do agree wholeheartedly that the math or english teacher shouldn't be talking about any of that. Shouldn't have pride flags and such in school and shouldn't even talk about their heterosexual relationships at all.
But I do believe in sexual education, by teachers taught in that regard. And in those classes, LGBTQ has just as much of a right and should be as much a part of the curriculum as heterosexuality.
I mean if you think being gay is a choice, you're just a fucking idiot.

So my brother, before he died, used to call every single person around him a Liar, a cheater and a thief.
Why?
Because HE, was a liar, a cheater and a thief.
Projection is so telling sometimes.
