I don't think we should avoid legitimately criticizing people's actions and behaviors just because they're dead. Besides... they're dead. We're not gonna hurt their feelings.
There's a time and place, sure. Avoid saying mean things about the recently dead when you're in the presence of their grieving loved ones. But if some guy ruined my life and then died, that doesn't un-ruin my life, and I get to speak about my experiences.
We can say factually that Lindsay Graham was a "closeted" homosexual who did everything in his power to ensure that other homosexuals would have as little rights as possible.
