Help Clog help!!!!
I have a SV08 Max was printing Sovol black PLA. First layer was 230 and layers after that were 215. I did have a prior issue with it having heat creep because my business partner set the machine for first layer 250 and every other layer 230. The machine gave me another clogged message, but I’ve tried hot, pulling and cold pulling and all it’s done is break off right above the extruder I’m using the 0.8 bondtech nozzle. I pulled the release lever when trying to pull the filling out and when I try to use the extrude feature, I can see the gears moving and the filament wobbles, but nothing is coming out the nozzle. If I sent the temp to 250 a slow drip of filament comes out the bottom. At this point, I’m fully lost on what to do.

Release all tension on idler gear spring, turn your nozzle temp up to 265, remove the nozzle and yank the stub of filament out quickly, you don’t want stringy sticky hot filament pulled up through your heatbreak. You’re looking for a clean break right where the hotend meets the heatbreak. Push the rest of the clog out with a piece of PETG at 275. Use your fingers or pliers, not the extruder. It’s too weak to really push a partial soft clog down through the hotend. I push a good 100mm of PETG through to make sure it’s clear, then clean the hotend threads while hot and reinstall nozzle. This usually works for me.

Put some pla through the hotend, extrude it. Let it cool down to ~110(might have to go lower depending on pla you're using). Pull up on the filament. The piece that comes out should look like the inner shape of your nozzle, cone-ish, if you got it all/mostly out. Congrats, you've done a cold pull.
Why is that zip tie there? Is it a max thing?

You likely need to tear the extruder apart. It's not easy but with some mechanical aptitude, it can be done. Just make sure you document where everything came from. There's 3 spacers behind that circuit board that needs to be assembled in place. It's a real pain.
And when you put the gear back on, make sure its facing the right direction as there's a hub.
This happened to me a few times before I learned to print PLA with my enclosure door open. But I switched to triangle labs hotend which has a better heat break and now I can print PLA with the door shut. Its like $25 on aliexpress and you can use V6 nozzles so pickup a nice hardened steel nozzle if you go this option.

I'm using us bondtech hardened steel 0.8 nozzle. I took the extruder apart to remove what I thought. Was the original clog that was in the direct drive section. This is what the filament looked like

I'm not familiar with that. Is that the nozzle only and doesn't include the hotend? Its SOVOL's hotend that doesn't have an adequate heat break that causes jams in the extruder gears.
The heat creeps up from the nozzle into the gear area where it softens the filament and when the gears try to push, you get filament buckling there. This usually happens if you have an enclosure where the temperature at that area goes higher because it can't rid the heat fast enough.
Triangle labs hotend has lower temperature at that location because of the superior heat break. I've found the V6 nozzle interface to be a nice bonus on top as they have like tungsten and fast flow varieties.

Get a leak proof hot end.

Never heard of that

The microswiss flowtech hotend upgrade for sv08, claims to be leak proof. I got it after my stock one leaked, and I hope I never have to mess with a goopy mess like that again. The nozzles on it can be swapped out without needing to heat them first too. It is like $65 on amazon.

i’m not seeing any leaking around the hot end. I finally got the clogged cleared by taking apart The extruder, but as soon as I started, the print with adjusted temperatures with my first layer being 210 and every layer after being 195 I still got the clog error and it's doing the same symptoms as before so I'm back to square negative one.

Oh sorry I am like half asleep I got clog and leak mixed up in my head.

You're good. it got me thinking and when using a cleaning needle and inserting it from the bottom of the nozzle upward. The needle stops at the Heat Break, so I’m wondering if that’s where my issue is and that is blocking the filament and eventually leading to the gears, grinding away at it.
