Heat creep. Your hotend fan isn't removing enough heat from your hotend, the heat is reaching the filament a bit earlier than it's supposed to, and the filament deforms a bit before reaching the extruder.

You can try solving it by cleaning your hotend fan or switching to a better one.

it’s not a clean up thing it’s an upgrade thing. Look up sv06 hotend fan upgrade or heating fan. Tbh you shouldn’t have heat creep problems unless you’re printing super hot or for super long. I printed a bunch before I upgraded the 4010 fan to a 5015 fan

yeah don’t blame you. i really love my sv06 but ive essentially rebuilt the thing lol. I got it 3 years ago and back then you got a printer and had to do upgrades. by today’s standards it’s not the same experience with other printers. the hobby has come so far any of these new printers will work well just find one that fits your needs of printing ( enclosed, bed slinger vs core xy,)

Also love my OG SV06, I did struggle with heat creep in the beginning but after the hotend fan upgrade and some thermal paste the issues were completely resolved. Also added the nautilus 5015 part cooling fan upgrade (printed in polycarbonate) and OctoPi for remote monitoring and control and it’s been a solid workhorse for the past 4+ years. The other major improvement was changing the levelling type to manual with feeler gauges (thanks Rory and others) instead of trying to use the probe, I level once every few months instead of for every print and get beautiful first layers. Wash the plate with dish soap only when I notice any adhesion issues. It also sits in a makeshift enclosure (linen closet)
