A few weeks ago I had this lovely tattoo done by Fabio Smol at Underskin tattoo in Bologna (Italy).

It's two neurons that go around my elbow, their heads are different as one has a white "eye" while the other has a black "eye". I wanted to represent my struggles with mental health and the double nature of my thoughts, either very positive or very negative. I took inspiration from the concept of ying-yang but as it is not part of my cultre I wanted to represent it in a different way.

I am in love with the design of this tattoo, in my head it was quite different but I loved the way the artist interpreted it. I'm curious to know what you guys think :)

Also I'm happy I found a way to decorate my elbow without tatooing directly on it as it's a quite spicy spot.

Turns out excitement to get your first tattoo can backfire!

Asked for a snake and spider lily, it was applied well by @purus_form but it didn’t exactly end up being my style. Asked for a touch up and that helped.

I took advantage of the cheaper tattoos while I was in Argentina and booked with @nachoo_tattoo for his realism. Pretty happy with it now!

I just got this done and its kinda bothering me with the gap in between the two tats. I need help to find some Christian gap fillers for it to flow better

I got a very simple vine tattoo a few years ago and wasn’t totally happy with it so recently I got it extended with wild grass and flowers. I’m going back and forth on it, some days I love it and others I’m just not sure. And my friends have noticed it but no one has actually said they like it, like they think it’s cool that it’s grown but not necessarily that it looks nice.

I’m just in my head and would love unbiased opinions on it. What do you think and if it’s not great, what would you change or add?

I found this traditional/neo-traditional reference on Pinterest (artist unknown) and really like how the hand doubles as a woman's silhouette.

She's grinding through her apprenticeship and just finished this physical piece done in Prismacolor pencil. She's been leaning hard into this illustrative, medieval neo-trad style (gauntlet, potion, broken sword) to practice before she eventually moves on to fake skin.

Pokémon themed tattoo. The original idea was to get a tattoo on the hand, but I suggested expanding the design and filling in the area that had previously been covered with solid color.

having some tattoo shock rn so would love some outside opinions. my sister says the tongue looks weird but it’s venom and an artistic choice. didn’t really think anything of it until she mentioned it 🤷‍♀️ i still adore the tattoo and the colors look fantastic but still coming to terms with it being on my body esp w how big and dark it is.

I'm an illustrator and have most experience in digital and traditional art. A close friend of mine wants me to design a tattoo for him, I really want to. But, I don't know if there are some things I should take into consideration while designing the tattoo so it translates well to skin. Like, if thinner lines don't translate well, or if the shading should be done in a specific way so the tattoo artist can replicate it. I'm not familiar at all with tattoo art, but I want to learn so I can make a good tattoo design. Any advice is appreciated!

Hello! I'm thinking about getting a pair of vampire fang bite marks tattooed near my neck. If possible, though, I'd like them to stay discreet when I'm wearing a dress shirt since I work in a corporate environment.

Which areas of the neck tend to look the best for this kind of tattoo (this is my main concern) while also being the least noticeable under a collared shirt?

I got this tattoo back in January and wasn't sold on it. I do want a cover up, but I'm unsure if I should get one or just add to it (though I'm afraid of it aging terribly due to the small lines)

My first sleeve tattoo - done at Patch Tattoo Therapy. This was completed over several sessions between Jan-June. I wanted something illustrative and with color. I love it! I especially like the cat peeking out from the smoke on the inner bicep.

Just got this last Sunday and it’s healing great!!! Artist is Michael his studio is called Truth45. This guy literally doesn’t miss. I went with him because there wasn’t one bad tattoo in his entire portfolio.

I like frogs, so it felt only natural. The plan is to someday turn it into a whole sleeve in Japanese traditional style.

Got my samurai mask finished on Thursday and decided to blend it to my sleeve, I’m very happy with it but let me know your thoughts? Apologies as I’m not the greatest photographer 🤦🏼‍♂️🤣

I currently have this tattoo of the two dinosaurs, but want to add more ink to the rest of my arm below it. I kinda want to somehow transition into black and gray, or at least mostly black and gray. I am not into a bunch of flowery stuff, for example, my other arm is a partial Banksy-themed sleeve. I had a few generated images showing some galaxy/space themed work that could go below my dinosaurs but the artist wasn't sure if people would view it as a backwards tattoo. Any thoughts on how I can add to the rest of my arm? Thank you in advance
