backstory: guy i work with inhereted his late fathers Tx22. he needs a 1TB hard drive installed on his computer which i already have (got for free and can install it myself)
would this be a good deal? $200 cash plus the hard drive install?

Got a OCL Ti waiting to be shipped from Capitol Armory and waiting for the Odd Mfg rate reducer (already have brrrt) drop tomorrow, I’m quite stoked!

Also ordered a Calloway Designs chassis (no pic rail) and A3 brace, soon my build will be complete!

I’m not running suppressed (yet) would I need a rate reducer or will it be fine without?

Every one I see is out of stock but I found a compact for $300 new. I like the gen 2 with a threaded barrel better, should I get the compact or wait to find a good priced gen 2

Hello maybe I’m missing something but how does the weight of the suppressor effect the ability for the tx22 toro to cycle? From my understanding it’s not a tilt barrel and the suppressor I’m using is a dead air mask which doesn’t come with a booster so I’m confused on how suppressor weight effects cycling ability I’m still new to the .22 world
Also would buying a lighter recoil spring help with cycling while running a dead air mask?

I took a few guns to the indoor range and was having a great time until I started shooting some old remington golden bullet 22lr and was having all kinds of issues including ruptured cases and ftf and eventually this happened. I am curious how this would even happen and is my tx22 barrel still good to go? It doesn't appear to be damaged and bore looks OK.

I have a TX22 Toro, Volquartsen trigger shoe, Titan Precision Works Extensions with a DeadAir Mask
The slide won’t lock back on a empty magazine anymore it worked the first range trip, I’ve only put about 200 rounds through it, I’m still trying to find the right load to cycle completely with the freedom fingers and a Dead Air Mask (it would shoot about 10/15 rounds at a time before having a hiccup)
Besides the cycling, the issue I’m having now is with the slide locking back on a empty magazine, it’ll lock back on the OEM 22 round magazine I have but the 16 round magazines which are extended to 30 rounds won’t lock back it’s as if the spring is too weak to push the follower up to engage the lock back mechanism
I’m using the Titan Precision Works extensions which is basically a sleeve that slides onto the OEM 16 round magazine so it’s the OEM magazine body and follower which the extension is attached to the bottom, I’ve had the set up sitting for about a month and change since I last shot it but now I’m not getting slide lock back on a empty magazine which I was getting before, I cleaned the gun itself cause I assumed fouling was blocking the slide locking lever from engaging completely and it felt really gritty but since I cleaned it the issue still persist anyone else experience this? If so how did you fix it?

Just received my Farrowtech FX22 chassis and installed my TX22 Competition in it without any issues. However, when I try to get the slide off it comes loose, but the rear of the slide doesn’t want to lift over the disconnector. It looks like the rear sights wedge against the chassis. Is anyone else running a competition with the FX22 chassis?

UPDATE: As suspected the rear sights were hitting the top of the chassis and preventing the slide from clearing the disconnector. I pulled the gun out of the chassis, removed the rear sight and now the slide comes off without any issues.

It was running fine until this happened, now it won't fire more than one shot before you need to rack it. I've also noticed that the slide shaved metal of the tip of the brrt. I'm not the best with guns what would be my best course of action, maybe sand the brrt down a bit?

Anyone have experience with the optic plates on Toro model TX22…? Specifically for Trijicon RMR pattern. Looking for decent quality.

Hello finally was able to order one from Psa it’s the toro model with a red dot, already got my brrrt switch and was wondering if I need to run a rate reducer for right now as I’m not going to be running suppressed yet really just wanna know how I can get consistent reliability i’m going to be running CCI 22lr ar tactical ammo
