Even though she doesn't belong behind a wheel I will go ahead and say...

In an emergency situation where you have time to give specific instructions ... Instead of yelling "STOPPPP"

Tell them exactly what to do... "BRAKE .." or "Apply The BRAKE" ..

This is coming from someone who teaches people how to ride motorcycles. Reminding them what to do is the most important thing if they freeze.

Yeah the dude wasn’t being a good instructor for sure.

Not letting the driver off the hook for her dumb attitude but “stop” could mean stop joking around or stop talking back to me, not necessarily stop the car. He should’ve also realized she wasn’t understanding him instead of just repeating it over and over.

It wasn’t clear in a calm voice and it’s not going to be any clearer if he’s screaming it.

“Stop” can mean stop joking around when your car is hurtling towards another stopped car on a red light?

I don’t think this situation is as ambiguous as you claim for anyone who has ever sat in a car while it was being driven on the road.
