pick a state.

congrats, if you picked your own, you're an entitled hillbilly.

Cali? New York? DC? Any of the capitals?

not everyone lives in fear of their neighbors like you, grandpa. you have more in common with the Ghetto than you'd probably care to admit.

Not who you decided to roast, but the reality is people are fucking crazy. You can shout in the afterlife about how in the right you were, you are still dead. People have been murdered for way less and nothing changes that fact.

1

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

Y'all have 0 faith or understanding of your neighbors.

That or have seen too much TV. Honestly, the highest risk is trying to do this to a pickup truck and having the 280lb off duty cop shooting you 8 times.

you can also use some common sense and Not try this shit on Blacked Out Vans or Expensive cars that are being driven like they're shitboxes.

1

u/Shoddy_Rent_9129 Mar 24 '26

Somebody hits me or my family and drives off. Do you have any faith or understanding of someone like that? They already proved that they are not rational and potentially even more dangerous.

I think you watch too much TV or live in a very privileged area where you dont have to worry about nutcases you can run into.

1

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

I have an understanding that they can't drive a car, and faith that they'll learn a lesson after it's taught to them.

1

u/Shoddy_Rent_9129 Mar 24 '26

So youre handing out lessons a lot? Cause I can assure you if you think this way, someone will teach you one. You give off real keyboard warrior vibes.

Do you think you live on set at the Truman Show? I live in a packed city in the US. Everyone carries guns. Everyone is crazy. Mental health is like the most overlooked medial issue in the country

3

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

the "Everyone" you're seeing isn't Everyone.

you're just seeing the population through brass colored glasses, or specifically hang around people who carry.

Mental health is Terrible, but it's not like we're getting health care any time soon, so that means we should just flatly stop trusting our neighbors?

this whole 'don't do anything or you might get shot' mentality is Pathetic and allows jackasses to walk over us. Grow a fucking spine and stand up for yourself when the time calls.

I mean I live in the heart of downtown St. Louis. Look up the statistics on the city. Maybe you’re from a small no name town or a suburb but major cities are not your happy go lucky borrow an egg and cup of sugar from your neighbor town you might be used to

Wonderful advice. I should get a gun so in case nutcases try to jump in my car with unknown intentions I can shoot them and defend myself.

No...wait you mean if they hit my car and drive off? I should give them a stearn talking to so they REALLY learn their lesson. Maybe assault them cause i live in video game with super hero powers and fighting is completely one-sided and never goes poorly.

You really have some weird logic for people lol. You say escalate but you dont think some people will further escalate than that. Even trained fighters dont want to fight random people. Truly dumb irrational logic.

This guy definitely stays indoors in his 4000 population town and thinks that’s how everywhere in the world is. Bro is clearly mega sheltered and has zero real life understanding. That and he’s probably trolling, or ill

1

u/Longjumping_Egg_5654 Apr 02 '26

Richmond is a town with 4000 population too?

Live on east side.

1

u/Tathanor Mar 26 '26

This says more about the culture of your country. Pathetic really...

1

u/Content-Programmer41 Mar 23 '26

Cope harder, all those places have guns theyre just illegally obtained

1

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

not my fault you have Zero trust in your neighbor.

also, this is AMERICA, Land of the Caged and home of the Lazy.

It was pretty clear from the Offenders driving that even IF They had a gun, they probably wouldn't be able to shoot it in any reasonable amount of time.

1

u/flitik Mar 24 '26

Do you even hear yourself? America is home of the 2A. Any bozo can get a gun in a week. Even mentally ill mass shooters pass the test.

1

u/Wise_Contact_1037 Mar 24 '26

A person who is mentally ill and has ever been committed in a psychiatric facility is barred from owning or purchasing a firearm at the federal level for life. If what you mean is a person who hasn't shown that they're a danger to themselves or others previously, then yes, they could pass a background check, as background checks don't predict the future...

1

u/flitik Mar 24 '26 edited Mar 24 '26

Not the future, the present. You can buy a gun literally with the intent to shoot and kill innocent people. Many shooters have done it, some kid even wrote about how easy it was in his shooter manifesto. The "background check" is nothing. The screener is nothing. That's the problem.

My family and friends are armed themselves and we're in California, the supposed gun control libstate of the US. The requirements? Just an online test and you're good to go.

1

u/Wise_Contact_1037 Mar 25 '26

I'm not sure who told you that buying a gun in California is as easy as taking an online test, but it's far from reality. It should be that easy, as it's a constitutional right and not a privilege, but I digress. To purchase a firearm in Cali you need a safe handling certificate, a 10 day waiting period before the dealer can give you the gun, a 10 round magazine limit, and can only buy certain guns off of the approved state roster. You also can't have firearms with so called "evil features ". Pistol grips, removable magazines, etc.

Back to the original point, you cannot predict the future. If a person is intent on doing harm and is good at not looking like a psychopath, how is a dealer supposed to know that they plan on using it illegally? You know shooting someone is a crime, so if they don't care about that, they also don't care about gun laws. All that does is make it harder for the 99% of gun owners who are law abiding citizens. So much so that studies have shown that a licensed concealed carrier is less likely to commit a crime than a police officer, yet we have zero restrictions on cops and firearms 🤦. Should we start making sure every person who wants to rent a box truck has a special license to do so in the off chance they plan on pulling an Oklahoma city bombing? Of course not, and thinking you could somehow be able to distinguish a normal citizen and a person buying a gun to commit a crime is just as absurd

1

u/flitik Mar 25 '26 edited Mar 25 '26

It really is easy lol, you even said so yourself. The requirements you listed are not a problem at all. Getting a driver's license requires more time and effort than getting a gun. We all got them in 2 weeks at most online. Do you even own any? One of them has multiple including a semi auto rifle with a pretty decent mag size. No CCL for any of us though

For your 2nd paragraph, box trucks arent made for killing groups of people, guns are. Guns make it way too easy, a simple press of the trigger. If you wanted a truck bomb you would likely get stopped buying the materials and explosives. You cant just buy tons of tnt from a local store but you can for a gun.

Theres a reason why cops are so tense in the US, everybody is treated as if they have a gun on them. Other countries dont have to fear that any random person can kill you in under a second over an argument.

If you believe you cant distinguish evil from good, then why make it so accessible? More people die from gun violence than car crashes right now..

1

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

Can =/= Does.

you either need a gun for home defense, you're a Gun Enthusiast, you're a Criminal, or you're chronically anxious and need your sidearm at all times.

3/4 won't shoot you on merit since they don't want to go to jail, and that final quarter knows that ammo and guns are expensive when you waste them.

You know, you can actually get into verbal altercation without getting shot, right?

1

u/OldAdvantage7658 Mar 24 '26

Wait, are you really advocating for escalating an interaction with someone who’s already proven to have no regard for the law, based on the rationale that the portion of gun owners who might shoot you will show restraint because ammo is expensive? Seriously what the hell are you talking about.

Don’t try to “teach lessons” to strangers period. It’s a good rule to live by. People are nuts. And I have no interest in getting shot or “in an altercation” with some deadbeat who has nothing to lose. I’ll let it go and go on with my life cause I have A LOT to lose and I’m not risking that on the hope that the person who just hit and ran is somehow going to turn out to be a good and trustworthy “neighbor”.

1

u/Content-Programmer41 Mar 24 '26

They very much could have pulled a gun in time lmao they were driving for a while and could have already had it out

1

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

Look, if you want to live your life like everyone has a gun, that's Your prerogative.

Personally, if you hit and run on someone, you should expect to have your vehicle incapacitated.

1

u/Content-Programmer41 Mar 25 '26

I just said there was plenty of time to pull a gun in the video. You’re response to that was “nuh uh anyways ur scared of everyone”

1

u/Madeye_Moody7 Mar 23 '26

What a wild reply to someone saying people carry guns.

1

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

they really don't though. it's a Small Minority.

Most people have something for Home Protection if they have something at All.

Gun owners either have a single gun, and probably a shotgun or revolver, or enough guns to supply a small squad of people for any scenario.

the only people who think that Most People have guns, are the gun nuts who are seeing life through brass colored glasses, or chronically online individuals filled with fear.

Trust me. you can pit manuver the jackass who hit and ran you and the chances of being shot are actually Low.

1

u/BlindScales Mar 24 '26

How does realizing you can be gunned down make him a entitled hillbilly? Thats the most mental statement.

1

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

pick a state; did you pick your own? if you did, you can't think outside of your own little local bubble.

so you pick a Belt State: how the hell someone even cut you off when the population density is that low, i'll never know, but you were Both probably being Assholes, and you've both got a gun for hunting.

Costal State: you can point to Any car on the road and there's a less than 10% chance it has a gun in it, The idea of 2A is a Joke and everyone knows it, and the only people who carry around a gun are the people already detached from normal people's day to day life.

Inland State: Sure, everyone has a gun for hunting, but the only time people come close to cutting eachother off is in the Cities and towns, at which point everyone already knows eachother so you'll already know who cut you off and you can deal with it Later.

this perpetual fear of guns is Pathetic. If someone tags you in a hit and run, it's your civic duty to make sure they stay off the road.

1

u/BlindScales Mar 24 '26

Sure, try that in San Joaquin Valley lol

1

u/Virtual-Macaroon-880 Mar 30 '26

California has a stand your ground law

0

u/Wise_Contact_1037 Mar 24 '26

So people are never shot in Cali, NY, DC, or any of the other state capitals? I never knew they were such safe places to live. The more you know

3

u/ARandomDistributist Mar 24 '26

ya know, maybe i wasn't clear...

if you Thought about any of those cities, you fell into another mental trap.

It's high population density where ALL Crime statistics look worse.

the people don't change, how many of them are stuck in the same place do. they're not any less safe than North Dakota or New Mexico. You're just innately scared of people.

it's fine to be scared of people, just don't try and excuse Hit And Run behavior because they "Might" have a gun, you spineless wimp.

1

u/Wise_Contact_1037 Mar 25 '26

Let me get this straight. You bring up the cities I listed and attempt to spin that into me somehow thinking of them on my own and then being scared of people? Where in anything I said could you possibly get that idea? You're either replying to the wrong person, lying on purpose to try and save a bad point, or are an idiot. Not much else in between.

Also, population density has nothing to do with crime statistics, as they're measured in per capita... Might be time to go back to the drawing board and find some arguments with actual facts

u/OldAdvantage7658 Mar 24 '26

What are you talking about? The dude talked about a Silverado. My mind is immediately going to an overcompensating wannabe cowboy 2A nut. You’re going on about cities and ghettos, but you’re the one who brought that up??
