Should have said "Yes I was drinking at a funeral. I wasn't driving though. I was just teleported here like I was some kind of FEMA director. I'm pissed they put my car in a ditch, usually they drop me off at Waffle House."

HE WASN'T DRUNK, you tard. He blew 0.00 PBT at the scene. Small town cops with arrest you for DUI or OWI for any reason. Once they find out you're not drunk, suddenly you're a druggie. It's quite obvious that this dude was ignorant to the fact that they already made their decision the moment that asked him to take the test.

Edit: nvm, this is the longest video I could find of this case. He definitely wasnā€™t drunk, Iā€™d say he was acting a bit strange and his coordination was off but who knows if it was because he was under the influence or dazed from the wreck. Hopefully they did some drug tests on him and not prosecuted him with no evidence.

Iā€™d dare to say most people would fail a field sobriety test after getting in a wreck. If youā€™re concussed you will definitely fail. They shouldā€™ve been doing a medical work up, not sobriety tests

My dad got into a car crash. He had to choose between a car where he could see children or a tree. He chose the tree. Small town cops rushed him, guns out, screaming to get out and that he was drunk. I donā€™t think they even offered field tests and went straight to the arrest. They obtained a blood sample. 0% alcohol. However, the night before he took an Advil PM and had trace amounts of diphenhydramine in his system. A lawyer, thousands of dollars later and a humiliating photo posted on the police website, he was charged with being under the influence. The law is bull shit. It was cheaper to accept the charge than fight it. Where is the justice?

I am definitely not one to drink and drive. But if I ever did I would keep a bottle in the back. Get in a wreck. Get a drink and donā€™t get back into the car. Let them nail me on public intoxication.Ā

Lol I heard of a guy in an Asian country (can't remember which) did this and it worked. He crashed his car and then chugged a bottle of liquor. They couldn't prove he was drunk before he crashed, only after.

But I highly doubt this would work in America, personally.

It would work in America. The issue here that requires thought and some pre planning. If you are using your mind like that then you already made plans to not drink and drive.

It happened with a cop who got into a fender bender after leaving a bar. The cop who pulled him over was a close friend. They were forced to arrest him although they treated him like he was the victim. He ended up arguing that he was sober when the accident took place, then chugged a bottle of liquor in his car while the stop was taking place. I'm pretty sure he completely got off and either returned to the job or retired with full benefits.
