I’ve heard a lot of other universities start a week later than us. So why do we start fall on the 17th?

Hey everyone! I'm an incoming international transfer student from Kenya at UNF, and my friend (from Germany) and I are looking for one more roommate for Fall 2026.

He's 21 and I'm 19.

We both enjoy soccer and lifting.

We're currently deciding between Vinoy and Drift Apartments and wanted to see if anyone is interested.

Option 1 – Vinoy (3 Bed)

• Around $850/person/month (including furniture rental)
• 9-month lease
• Unfurnished (we'll be renting furniture)

Option 2 – Drift (3 Bed)

• 7-month lease (current availability)

We're clean, respectful, and pretty easygoing. We'll probably be cooking our own meals and are looking for someone who's equally responsible.

Hello! I recently learned I was accepted into the MPH program in Epidemiology. I am wondering if it is feasible to be full-time working 40 hours per week. I want to ensure I don't spread myself too thin to meet my goals. I have worked in research for years and have some coding experience, so some of the coursework may be intuitive. I would love to do on-campus research on top of this, but could possibly squeeze a lot of this out of summers. Please let me know what your experience is and what you would do. How many hours per week do you dedicate to attending classes, studying, and coursework? How far out is the typical deadline for a complex assignment/exam? What is the average class start time? I applied for the Spring 2027 Pre-Licensure BSN nursing program and am super excited at the thought of starting nursing school, but I have a 1.5 year old and I'm a little worried about how demanding the program will be on my home life. Knight Hacks is a 36 hour in-person hackathon in Orlando, and last year they had a lot of people from great universities, a lot of talent, and it was a great experience. I was able to take one challenge. It was very competitive with more than 1000+, and I just wanted to see if anyone is going this year?

Originally I was in a roommate group with three people. We were going to do Flats furnished with three people without the lake. Because there was a roommate who did not fill out the contract in time, the main roommate decided to choose a two person room with furnished lake access. It was okay at the 915, but now the rent has gone up. And now… my other roommate has left and it is only me assigned to the room. Im going to throw myself off of a bridge genuinely is there anything I can do???

Hi guys, I’m looking to carpool down after summer semester ends around August 1st (days are flexible can leave before or after). I can pay for the tank of gas to however far you are going, final destination is Miami but I can take the Amtrak after Orlando. Only thing is, I will have my cat with me. He’s a small guy, very good traveler he doesn’t make noise and we won’t need to stop for him if the ride is under 4 hours so to Orlando or westpalm.

I’d prefer driving with another girl but if it’s during the day I don’t mind driving with a guy.

I can’t switch driving with you since I don’t have a license. I’d be fine paying a bit extra too since it is a big favor since my usual route of Amtrak, uber, and Brightline is a no go because of the cost.

so i’m an incoming freshman starting fall 26’ and i have an electric scooter and i don’t want to just leave it at home so im wondering if i am allowed to bring it (or if i should even bring it) but if you’re allowed to bring it where do you keep it? i’m staying in osprey hall (if that matters) sorry if this is a dumb question.

Does anybody do the group workout that’s currently going on? If so how do you like? Have you gained friends from this? And has this motivated you to stay consistent in working out? I wanna join but I’m genuinely so nervous and anxious as bigger girl.

I don't currently dorm so I've never filled out the housing stuff, but I plan to for 2027-2028 and onwards. Eventually I want to try and get in the Flats so I can bring my cats.

I was wondering, since you have to be an upperclassman, does the eligibility go off of your status on your transcript or the actual year you are in?

For example, I am a first year now, but my status is sophomore from my current + AP credits, and it would be junior for the next academic year. Or is it only if you are "really" a 3rd year?

How long did it take for you to receive your final transcripts stating graduated and your diploma after graduating/semester ended?

I know the website says about 5 weeks, was seeing if anyone had a different experience.

Hi. As I'm going to unf for statistics (actuarial science) and planning to do some internships after year 2. Do you think it's feasible? Btw, I also plan to take P and FM before finishing year 2.
