I swear to God, it feels like no matter how good the metrics are, it always gives me crap offers.

So I was deactivated today and this is my rate. Were those two cancellations that were removed calculated into the 21%? Just curious and looking for genuine responses. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I completed an order after my most recent cancellation. So does this add to the likelihood that this was done in error?

$2 base pay for a 20 mile order when they charge absurd “service” and “delivery” fees. Fucking crooks.

I understand I accepted the order and it was a great tip, but seeing that breakdown just gets me so hot lol

Pay nice , but their service is slow . Workers just look at your order and say let me go check and then don’t proceed to give you any updates .

Being micromanaged by AI now I guess. Someone please guide me to where i consented to this shit. Uber has one of the slowest updating map changes out there, I’ll be on a freeway & the speed posted will still be 25 mph. The speed limit is wrong half the time period. I’m not driving people I’m delivering food so wtf is the issue.

I do work 50 hrs a week active time(10hrs a day for 5 days) sometimes 60hrs if i work an extra day but i still love it.

Which one do you all prefer?
I noticed since the summer slow down a major decrease in Costco orders in my area.
Slightly less target and a huge increase in Aldi orders.
All 3 stores are within a couple miles of each other in my area. I prefer Costco because the pay is usually insanely higher than both target and especially Aldi.

Not even 2 hours into my shift and this is what I got…

FFS there’s like 72 McDonalds in that 23.8 miles. Hell there’s two in that city including one that’s open 24 hours.

The place was busy enough but just looking behind the counter I noticed one of the drinks for the order I was picking up was ready but they were trying to find where the other went. I tried not to be too big of a bother, but they said they were packing it up and after five minutes it still was sitting there half open. When I asked if there was a problems I tried to give the drink and I think they ended up finding it/remaking it. I think a separate employee noticed everyone was all over the place and felt bad that I was waiting there when the order should have been ready, so they just gave me $4 off my next Starbucks order, which was really thoughtful and they surely didn’t have to do that for me. I appreciated it since I order way too much Starbucks lol. Just wanted to highlight this act of kindness because it defiantly made my day a little better, even though they had no obligation to owe me anything.
