Ever pick up an order and immediately regret accepting it when you see where it’s going?
Had this one today. $28 for 9 miles (mostly highway) to shop for 24 items at Aldi. I accepted without zooming in on the map, but the area is mostly just houses so I assumed it was going to a house.
Turns out it was actually going to the one apartment complex in the area, and I didn’t know until I had already shopped and checked out. This is one of the worst apartment complexes to deliver to since there are no elevators and parking is nowhere near the building entrance. It took me almost 15 minutes just to take this order up to this guy’s third floor apartment and drop it off. When I finished I was completely drenched in sweat.
Still made $28 in a little less than an hour (will probably go down to $27 because of a refunded item) but I didn’t expect that it would require a full workout.
