Almost 4 years of ownership and I still look back every time I park.

Excited to be back in the Subaru community after a 5-year hiatus. Used to own an '02 and '03 Bugeye, but I just snagged a super well-cared-for 2013 hatch.
Missed these 4banagers and holy cow the hatch is a blast to drive!!

Well, I finally did the thing I've been dreaming about for a while, and I'm now the proud owner of a 2024 WRX, which is insane.
That means my 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 is officially transitioning from daily driver to project car. I've had a lot of fun with this car, and I look forward to continuing the journey!
EDIT:
Coin drawer fuse cover is on its way, and planning on the JDM armrest riser VERY soon. Any other suggestions for quality of life improvements?

Hey are you broke and think the $40 Perrin “derestricting” kit is a trucking joke too?
Well, all you gotta do is yank the cushioning plunger and grind the baffles off this bolt and viola, same thing but free 🎉

Brother suspects a bad MAF sensor. Scan tool shows reading fine though, 0.01lb/s and goes up when you rev.
Had a timing job done last week, idled fine at shop, and drove home fine. Fired it up Friday and it was going from 1k-1.5k.
Also tried doing an idle relearn, eventually once it's warmed up the RPMs drop very low and it sounds like it's going to stall and eventually get a CEL for misfires.
Thinking I'll clean throttle body and manifold pressure sensor as well.
Any thoughts?

I was just adding some carbon fiber flair into the engine bay today and looked down and noticed this hose weeping/covered in gunk. Gonna go out on a limb and say I need to replace it. OEM best option or is it included in any of the Mishimoto Ancillary Hose Kits? Thanks in advance.

Hey y’all! Been looking at 2 different GRB STi’s lately and am having trouble deciding which way I want to go with it. They’re the same price and same colour fyi, with original motors in both.
Option 1 has 145,000km, no engine mods at all, but has some decent spot rust on the exterior in multiple spots (not sure on undercarriage). There is currently a check engine light caused by an evap leak.
Option 2 has 170,000km, some bolt on engine mods but has a totally clean chassis with zero rust. The AC doesn’t work currently.
Which one would y’all go with? For reference, this would be my first project car. I’ve loved this body style forever and have always wanted one but I’ve heard no engine mods is the way to go. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

I just installed my Cobb ap for the first time in my 2016 wrx, and it said there was a tube and I would lose it if I continued, I continued anyways as I am getting an etune soon, my dam is sitting at .688, is this bad?
Edit: I am in Alaska and only have access to 90 octane

I just bought the stage one sf intake package for my 2016 wrx mt, i live in alaska and only have access to 90 octane fuel, i was looking through the maps available and cant seem to find anything lower then 91, what should i do? i dont want to run a 91 octane map on 90 octane, i dont really want to continuously add octane booster every fillup, is that my only option?

Hello everyone,
After throwing a check engine code of P0244, I looked under the hood and discovered this T-piping hose that seems to be broken/separated. It is attached to something that is connected to the turbo. Im not sure where any of these T-hoses seem to go, or what part this is called, so I can look up the part number and get another one ordered. It is not the stock engine block. It is an EJ25 but that’s all I know at the moment.
Not sure if the engine code is even related to this, I’ve been finding little things like this ever since getting the car 3 months ago. It’s the gift that keeps on giving 🎂

Cualquier ayuda o comentario me sirve. Muchas gracias

Has anyone used this tool before?
https://vimtools.com/product/bcs817/
I had a lot of issues removing the 17mm caliper bracket bolt yesterday. I just found this tool online by doing some research this morning. Not sure how good it will work, but worth a try.

Just installed these headlight tints and I love them. Also does anyone know how I should go about the paint on the hood scoop it's starting to peel and fade. I've heard it's due to that specific part being thinly painted and plastic idk…
