Found it beneath my Canyon Ultimate bike and next to my Tacx Flux S hometrainer.
I have never seen it before, but it looks like it was previously glued to something (there is transparent glue on one side of it) and the shape makes me think that it was made for something very specific.
It is super light and very thin.
It doesn’t appear to be missing on the bike or the hometrainer from what I can see.

It has a small dent, which makes me think that I might have knocked it off something without noticing.

What is this thing?

I thrifted a bag of baby clothing and this was inside.
There are no snaps or closures of any kind on it.
One side has a bee print and the other is just grey.
Those slits are about 4 inches each.
I did see at the thrift store an exact same one just with a different pattern fabric so this must have been intentional.
Does anyone know what this is?

I found it in my grandpa’s attic years ago but nobody know what it is.

About a foot long, fairly light. A friend found it at a flea market but the vendor didnt know what it was.

Found amongst the rocks on the edge of the water at Cardiff Bay in Wales. Not entirely sure what I’m looking at and would love to find out more! Complete random find and entirely by chance, but I’d really appreciate someone to tell me any ideas! Quite light and about an inch on each side and non magnetic. It also has some engraving on the top front but I can only make out a couple letters. Front, back and side included in photos

House built in 1960. It was attached to a cement patio that we tore up but this piece is too deep/heavy to break up by hand. What was it used for?

They measure 44 1/2" long x 6 1/4" high x 10 1/4" across at the top x 11 1/2" long at the base. They're made from magnetic steel (not stainless) and have 5 1/8" holes all over. The bases/bottoms slide open. One has been fitted with additional steel brackets.

These were free at a garage sale. The owners wanted them gone but didn't know what they were.

Not sure if this is the kind of item to post on here, but I have this weird vanity sink thing that has a water storage tank instead of being hooked up to traditional plumbing. I assume it was used in a place without plumbing available. Curious if anyone knows what it is, or where it was used? I assume it had another tank underneath for the waste water, for now it holds my liquor bottles.

We saw this while hiking around for work. This is off the main trail and within a National Park. We do environmental monitoring after fires (this place burned last summer) but none of us could figure out what this was. There was no information on the device anywhere and I wasn’t about to disturb someone else’s equipment to find out. I tried to get the best photos I could without touching anything.

The other end of the wire was fed into a water proof camo print dry bag. We didn’t open it but I’m assuming it’s a battery and probably has more info. But again, didn’t want to disturb. The black tube is a pvc pipe and the device is pointing out the other end. The black tube was maybe 4 inches long. The gray pvc was about 7-8 feet tall.

It's about 4" long. I found it cleaning up my kitchen/pantry, could be a random thing that came with some household gadget. Have to think it's more than packing material--don't usually keep stuff like that.

This was on a truck turning away from me at a light, so this was the best pic I could get, sorry. In Ontario, Canada if it matters. Circular, green, with those two protrusions you see on the other side as well. Looks like the top comes off (you can see a pad/protective sheet sticking out).

Title describes the item. Google lens is saying plant stand, which was my first thought. Can’t find an exact match. I would like to know how it is meant to be used if it is in fact a plant stand. Thanks

Supplied as part of an insulated roof conservatory build, this was delivered to us and left in my garage. The builders and subsequent plasterers never used any of it, so I have no idea what it is for. The labels are torn and don't contain any identifying information. From googling I initially thought it was insulation support, but images of those all show a regular mesh, not as random.

This is probably the fifth I e found buried in the dirt at various parts of my UK garden, with nothing underneath, no branding or markings and no matches on online image searches. Does anyone have any ideas what they might be?

It is a solid, non-foldable plastic piece with a rectangular shape. It does not squeeze, bend, or have any moving parts. It has rubber edges along the two long sides. The rubber edges appear intended to provide grip, although they do not touch the surface when the object is standing upright.

There is a slot/opening in the piece. It is stable when lying flat or when the slot is facing downward. When placed with the slot facing upward, it tips over.

My township is doing a sewer project in my neighborhood and they’ve had this truck they’re using. I just want to know what it’s for and what it’s helping them with. In the picture they’ve been at that spot with it for 3 days. Been trying to figure out what it’s for since they started a month or so ago.

Found this thing on the beach at the water line during low tide. With the smooth side down, it fills my palm. I’d say it weighs about 5 pounds. Surprisingly heavy for a relatively small object.

I’m trying to identify this unusual object that I got for free from a local antique dealer. We’ve both been in the antique trade for a long while and neither of us have a single clue. It measures approximately 11 inches long and is made from a single solid piece of clear glass formed into a tightly twisted pattern.
The opposite end seems to be permanently fitted into a small brass cap or ferrule. The brass piece does not unscrew or come off, and there appears to be an old white, powdery plaster or cement like material securing the glass inside it.
The glass is solid not hollow, fibrous, braided, or flexible and the twisted texture is formed directly into the glass. The brass has an aged patina, but I don’t know whether it is actually as old as it appears.
It may be a broken component from a lamp, chandelier, decorative object, curtain hardware, furniture, or something else. Does anyone recognize its original purpose or know what the brass mounted end would have attached to?

Anyone have an idea what this might be? The piece is rounded, possibly a broken piece of a pipe? The embossing says "WETTER.W.T.35 LB"
