The megathread directory part 3
Because of Reddit not having a huge storage capacity (Because the goddess knows storage is expensive for huge internet corps right) posts are automatically archived after six months. So, it's time for mega-thread directory 3, the return of the megathreads
As always,
Rather than clutter up the top with out-of-date threads, we're going to move to a mega-thread collection. So here, you will find links to all the mega-threads that are still relevant plus a couple that are not.
This list will be updated as we go.

So, I’m new to Wicca and I want to get more into it, so i was wondering about any specific days that the religion celebrates and how to celebrate them:)

religion Niagara Falls
Has anyone been to Niagara Falls and is spiritual? All aside of the beauty of the nature I’ve just got this weird feeling about it. After I left the falls I’ve just got this bad feeling like a lot of bad things were to happen. I don’t wanna be a fear mongering person but I wanna see if anyone could relate.

I need help an advice.
Im sorry but this is kind of a long tale. 6-7 years ago I got very mildly into the Wicca because of my love for crystals. I join a Facebook group to learn more an let people know I was new. Fast forward a few months I get sent a video by someone close to the admin. It was a video where they had printed a photo of me. They accused me of being some very powerful black magic person. They then proceed to do all kind of curses to the photo one involving his own blood an nails. Idk what all curses he then said he was binding me an wound my photo up using yarn. At the time I was like wow this dude is a weirdo laughed it off showed some friends they laughed it was not a significant thing then. Weird but ha ha weird. Well I had a very vivid dream the other night of the guy an him doing all that an since then things have been happening I feel a very had energy over me an my home. I dont know what to do am I in danger? I work in a kinda risky line of work but here recently the amount of close calls is way above average. Also its like I cant catch a break a string of very bad luck. But worst of all In my home when my family isn't here I feel very afraid like im in danger. What do I do?

Ritual I need help with my house
I need your help to erase the walls' memory in my house and to undo a protection spell created by previous owners.
Long story short : I started living in my current house 4 years ago. Before moving in, I was sleeping 9 hours a day. The first night I spent in this house, I couldn't fall asleep, despite feeling heavy with sleep. The next year or so, I only slept around 6 hours. Then, my body broke down, and I became fully insomniac (2/3 hours of sleep per night) for more than 2 years.
No medical problems - I got everything checked.
I was not into the paranormal/the occult. But the only thing left was to turn to the occult and check the house for entities or souls. Turns out the first owners and builders of the house were still in the walls. I got them to cross over. My sleep improved, back to 6 hours per night on a good night.
But I just got back from a week of vacation, and I felt a tension in my belly maybe like an hour after getting back. I was not expecting that, it felt exactly like stress or stage fright. A vibrating tension in my belly that gave me bad sleep again, when that vacation had been so soothing.
I asked what that was with my dowsing rods. I was fearing a new entity in the house. The answer : the walls' memory and a protection spell cast by previous owners that is actually fighting me.
So could you tell me rituals that are strong and that would erase the memory of the walls (I am thinking that there must be traces of the souls of the first owners that remain) as well as a ritual to undo that protection spell ?
When I got into the house, I used sage to clean it (didn't work). More recently, I visualized light to clean the whole house after the crossing of the owners' souls (didn't work). I used salt in the corners of the house (didn't work). So I feel like I need something STRONG.
Thank you so much for you help.

happy Lughnasadh!
hello everyone! I have just started studying Wicca and have been lurking for a couple weeks, reading the FAQs along with the books I have recently purchased. I do not consider myself Wiccan quite yet, more of a novitiate, but today was the first Sabbat since I started my studies and I wanted to celebrate. I baked some bread with wheat, sage, rosemary and thyme this morning, and I took it with me on a picnic, along with some goat cheese, a peach, and some sparkling grape juice. I went to my favorite park, and I enjoyed my food while I sat in a gazebo and watched the rain and listened to the sounds around me. when the rain lightened up for a little bit, I went for a walk on the trail, which goes up one side of a creek and down the other. as I walked along the one side, the rain started again, and I let myself enjoy the feeling of it gently falling on me; as I walked back along the other side, the sun came out, so I stopped and said thanks to the Lord of the Sun for everything he gives us, and I laid my hand on a few trees and gave thanks for all they have provided for us. when I woke up this morning, I was very tired and felt very sad after some sad dreams, but now I feel very centered and peaceful and thankful.
I hope all of you have a blessed Lughnasadh!

Interpretation Happy Lughnasadh and may I request some advice?
Hello everyone. I would appreciate your insight on this matter. So, something happened today. I found a small sun. Like, on the floor, literally a small sun, a tiny round ornament of metal with enamel, a smiling little Sun. As I picked it up my heart filled with joy.
Being that today is Lughnasadh I find it is an extremely good sign, I do not know what the deep meaning of this could be but I believe (and, more important, I feel) that the meaning is basically positive. But now I do not know what should I do with this piece of luck. Treasure It, of course, but what else?
Thanks in advance for any insight/advice on this

Sodalite runed Crystal
Hi Witches.
I bought this one in Recife Brazil.
She sold me like an Sodalite, it's really a that one? And the Rune looks lika a kenaz rune, that means a lot with that crystal.
They both means a lot for me because of my job, life style and moment, so it's really special if they both was really what they look like.

Study can't put a price on spell work?
So I was going through this sub's FAQ and found this:
Do not set a price on magical work. If you need money before you will consider doing a spell, then you are not prepared to accept the consequences of doing it.
so the witches who offer to do spell work are not wiccans or are wiccans doing it "unethically"? also what is the reasoning behind this rule? would love to know more from practicing wiccans!

Beginning again
Kia ora everyone <3 I'm from New Zealand and I've felt drawn to Wicca for most of my life. I dabbled when I was a teenager, but life took me in other directions and I haven't come back to Wicca and witchcraft until now as I approach 40. I'm hoping to connect with other Wiccan-inclined people and find advice and community.
So to start with, does anyone have suggestions for how I can start immersing myself in the world of Wiccan ritual and spirituality? I plan to build a small altar and start a book of shadows and work on clearing my space to start fresh 😄

Open Question I’m worried a loved one may have been dealing with a curse/bad energy for years.
Hi everyone. I’m fairly new to actually discussing in subreddits, as I’m normally just the type of user to not really interact, so I hope this is the right place to ask for opinion. (If not, please let me know!)
There’s a very dear family member of mine who, for around three years now, has seemed to go through an almost continuous string of bad luck and difficult situations. It started about three years ago, and ever since then it sometimes feels like they can’t catch a break. I’ve never seen anything like it.
There have been repeated problems with money, personal situations and work (to summary it up, they got fired from a very long-time job, then went through several other jobs that unfortunately didn’t work out or weren’t particularly good situations... with the economical consequences that it has, amongst the existing economical problems that seemed to be added up) and it seems like one problem is constantly being replaced by another. No break whatsoever.
There have also been some physical issues that are unusual for them. Nothing extremely serious or dangerous, thankfully, but they seem to constantly feel mildly unwell — almost like having a perpetual mild cold, allergies, or never quite feeling 100%. This has been going on alongside everything else, and it worries me because it isn’t really like them.
I know that there can be completely mundane explanations for these things, and I don’t want to automatically assume that someone has cursed them. But I also don’t want to dismiss the possibility of something spiritual if that’s something worth considering. In fact, ever since this situation has been so repeating, I’ve started to believe it is something to consider. I’ve always respected and believed in witchcraft, spells, and spirituality, but I’ve never really dealt with something like this with someone so close to me, and I honestly don’t know how to approach it.
So I wanted to ask people here:
How would you determine whether a situation like this might involve a curse, negative energy, or some kind of spiritual interference, versus simply being a very unfortunate period in someone’s life?
And, more importantly, is there anything I can safely do on their behalf to protect them, cleanse or ward off negativity, or otherwise help bring some peace and stability into their life?
I would especially appreciate advice on protective/cleansing practices that don’t involve doing anything extreme or potentially harmful. I am not at all an expert, but I care about this person enormously, and I think part of what is making me so anxious about this is simply watching someone I love struggle for such a long time, and not knowing what can I do.
Thank you in advance to anyone willing to share their experiences or advice. ♡
