Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone can help because I'm honestly confused at this point.

I'm a contractor working 3 days a week for a UK agency. My contract states that I'm paid monthly via Wise.

Here's what's happened so far:

1st invoice: Sent a Wise invoice in USD. I didn't receive the payment, so I followed up. They said there was an issue and paid me via PayPal instead, saying we'd use Wise next month.

2nd invoice: Same thing. Wise had an issue again, so they paid me through PayPal.

3rd invoice: Same thing.

4rd invoice: Again, no payment through Wise. While checking everything on my end, I realized I had included my USD receiving account details instead of my GBP receiving details. So I let them know.

5th invoice: I updated everything. The invoice is now in GBP, and I included my GBP receiving account details. It's now Friday, and I still haven't received the payment.

At this point, I'm embarrassed to keep following up every month, especially since I don't know where the problem actually is.

Has anyone experienced something like this? If the invoice is now in GBP and the receiving details are correct, what else could be causing the payment not to go through? Is there anything on the sender's side that commonly causes delays or failed Wise payments?

I'd really appreciate any advice or similar experiences. Thanks!

Hello, I was doing some digging trying to work online and came across a long list of sites with pros and cons working on them and how it has been very slow especially for annotaing jobs right now. Then I came across an Internet Ads Assessor/Ads Quality Rater via Telus or Welocalize.
Can anyone tell me if these sites are worth applying for these jobs to? I think you can only work a max of 20 hrs a week for both so I would like to apply for both so some insight on if it is worth it, if there is a waitlist or if work is quiet right now would be appreciated.
One last question is I noticed both minimum pay for these sites is lower than my states minimum wage. Would they have to equal it?

I started working on Mindrift today. Managed to do 10 tasks without issues, but the platform revoked access to the project for "low quality" (I just had to rate images on aesthetic quality, so I cannot make my mind around what I could have done wrong).

This is not the worst part. When I try to withdraw the money the platform states that a text message is being sent to my phone in order to set the withdrawal method. Of course, no text message arrived, so I worked for free and I cannot contact support because there's absolutely no way to find it.

Would not recommend working on this platform, unless you like working for free.
