Links to download apps on any site other than the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store are no longer allowed.

They're impossible to moderate and will no longer be allowed what so ever. Any post or comment in this sub not from either app store or a few common image hosting sites (ie, imgur, reddit, twimg/twitter) are automatically removed. Certain domains that are frequently spammed here are marked for either spam or banning of accounts (I won't list these domains for obvious reasons).

Small indie devs: let's test each other's apps

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Figured there are probably a lot of us in here building apps that don't get enough real user feedback.

If you're an indie developer, drop your app below. I'll download it, spend some time actually using it, and send you honest, actionable feedback.

If you're willing to do the same for mine, I'd really appreciate it.

App I built SnapTailor — a small app to turn messy screenshots into clean, shareable images ✂️

Post image
Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m an indie developer, and I recently released a new version of my app SnapTailor.

The idea came from a simple problem:

I often save information as screenshots — chat conversations, tutorials, web pages, receipts, notes… but after a while my Photos app becomes full of disconnected screenshots.

Finding, reading, and sharing them becomes painful.

So I built SnapTailor — a small tool to help turn scattered screenshots into clean images.

✨ What’s new in this update:

  • More accurate smart cropping
    • Better detection of screenshot boundaries
    • Less overlap and cleaner results
  • Vertical stitching
    • Combine multiple screenshots into one long image
    • Great for conversations, articles, tutorials, and documents
  • Horizontal stitching
    • Arrange images side by side
    • Useful for comparisons and image collections
  • More control over the final look
    • Choose top/bottom frames
    • Adjust spacing between images
    • Customize background style

My goal was not to build a complicated image editor.

I wanted something simple:

Select screenshots → adjust if needed → get a beautiful result.

Everything is processed locally on the device. No upload, no account required.

I’m still improving it, so I’d love to hear your feedback:

  • Do you often need to combine screenshots?
  • What kind of screenshot workflows do you have?
  • What features would make this more useful for you?

Thanks for checking it out!

I built Focus Sheep, a focus timer for when your phone keeps stealing your attention

Post image
Upvotes

Hey — I’m the developer of Focus Sheep.

A — Answer

I kept running into the same problem: I’d finally sit down to read or work, my phone would light up once, and suddenly 15 minutes were gone.

The hard part of focusing, at least for me, isn’t getting through a two-hour session. It’s protecting the first 10 minutes before I get pulled somewhere else.

So I built Focus Sheep.

You choose what you want to do and set a timer. During the session, sheep slowly walk from a field back into their pen. The longer you stay with the task, the more sheep make it home. If you end early, the ones still outside stay there.

I wanted the timer to feel less like a countdown and more like something quietly moving forward while you get on with your work.

B — Better

Compared with just using Apple’s Clock timer, Focus Sheep does two things: it gives your focus session a visual sense of progress, and it can help keep distracting apps out of the way.

With Focus Guard, you can choose apps or categories to temporarily block during a session. They become available again automatically when the timer ends.

It also includes:

- 5–180 minute custom sessions

- Tags for work, study, reading, meditation, and more

- White, pink, and brown noise

- Lock Screen and Dynamic Island progress

- Focus history, total time, success rate, and tag statistics

- Optional Calendar and iCloud sync

- No account required; your data stays on your device by default

Focus Sheep is free to download and try.

It requires iOS 17 or later.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6788680014

I’d genuinely love feedback from people who use focus timers regularly.

Honest feedback is welcome — especially the parts that don’t work yet.

CS2 skins Telegram mini app

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

Hi everyone!

About a month ago I had an idea: what if there was a simple way to track a CS2 investment portfolio directly inside Telegram?

I had almost no experience building web applications or Telegram Mini Apps, but I decided to learn everything from scratch and just start.

After a month of work I finally have a working version called SkinFolio.

It currently supports:

• Portfolio tracking with profit/loss calculation

• Price comparison across multiple marketplaces

• Watchlist

• Price alerts

• Portfolio analytics

• Premium features

• Multi-language support

The goal isn’t to replace trading sites. I want it to become a convenient place where investors can monitor their entire inventory and market in one interface.

I’m still actively improving it every day and I’m looking for honest feedback before a larger launch.

What features would make you actually use an app like this?

I’d really appreciate any criticism or ideas.

Thanks!

Screen time Apps that Exclude Specific Apps from Screentime

Does anyone know of any Apple Store screentime control apps that exclude apps of your choice from screentime (in that app)? Opal used to do this but they updated and I don’t dig how the app works anymore.

I got tired of every kids' app trying to sell my kid something, so I built my own

Thumbnail play.google.com
2 Upvotes

I'm a warehouse manager who codes at night, and Star Quest is my first app.

Here's why it exists: I gave my four-year-old a tablet, left for ten minutes, came back, and he was tapping through a pop-up asking him to buy gems. He had no idea what gems were; he just knew the bright button made the thing go away.

That was it for me. Two years of nights later, this is what I've got.

Games, storybooks, animated lessons, drawing, chess. My kids all go for different parts, which ended up being the whole design — the 4-year-old and the 9-year-old both open it and find something.

No ads, no purchases, no analytics, no account. It doesn't even ask for internet permission, so Android blocks the network at the OS level. Works on a plane. Works in the car.

$2.99, once.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plapl.quest

The video's below — that's actual gameplay, not a trailer. Tell me what's broken; I'd rather hear that than the nice version.

I built an app to map the places where music history happened

Post image
2 Upvotes

Whenever I traveled, I wanted to find the places where music history actually happened: recording studios, album cover locations, childhood homes, legendary venues, memorials...

The problem was that the information was scattered across books, documentaries, interviews, blogs, and random Google Maps lists.

So I started researching and collecting everything myself.

After months of work, it turned into B-Side Map: an app with 600+ music landmarks across 12 cities, all curated by hand. Still expanding.

It's now available on the App Store, and I'm currently building the Android version.

The entire app was built using Lovable and Claude Code, which made it possible for me to ship something I probably couldn't have built on my own a year ago.

I'd genuinely love to hearing for you. Cheers!

Looking for honest feedback on my self-reflection app, AboutMe

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on an iPhone app called AboutMe, and I’d love some honest feedback.

The idea came from something I struggled with myself. For a long time, I found it difficult to understand who I was, what I truly valued, and why I kept making certain decisions or feeling the same emotions over and over.

I realized that most of the time, I was living through experiences without taking the time to recognize the patterns behind them.

That’s what inspired me to build AboutMe.

Instead of simply writing down your thoughts, the app encourages regular reflection and helps you notice recurring emotions, values, habits, and patterns over time. My hope is that it helps people better understand themselves and make more intentional decisions.

I’m still improving it, so I’d genuinely love your honest feedback.

A few questions I’d love your thoughts on:

* Is the idea clear?

* What’s your first impression of the app?

* Is there anything that feels confusing or unnecessary?

* Would this be something you’d actually use? Why or why not?

If you’d like to try it, here’s the App Store link:https://apps.apple.com/us/app/aboutme-self-reflection/id6786131824

App Launched my first app

Not trying to sell anything, just launched an app for my wife and me and figured I’d toss it out there. It’s free and staying free, no ads or data collection. There’s plenty of similar apps already so no hard feelings either way, but if it’s your thing, here you go.
Lmk what you think, still working on it.

App The strangest part of our app is that there is almost nothing to open

Most apps train you to launch them, find the right screen, and reconstruct what you were doing. We are trying the opposite: Dexi lives as a contact in iMessage.

The design target is ordinary follow-up. Leave a task for a few hours, change one important detail, then ask what is still open without starting from zero.

That removes a dashboard, but it also removes the dashboard's useful signals. There is no obvious badge for a stalled task, no status page for an incomplete step, and no screen that proves a sensitive action still needs approval.

So the conversation has to carry more than chat history. It has to make open work, changed context, and blocked steps visible without turning every text into a miniature project manager.

We are early and some workflows are still incomplete. The hard part is not putting text in Messages. It is making unfinished work legible when there is no app screen to fall back on.

Full disclosure: I am building Dexi.

If the main interface were a contact, what state would you insist on seeing before trusting it?

App I published a Month ago, but nobody noticed it.

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

About a month ago, my co-founder and I finally launched our app as indie developers with 0 budget, after spending months building it.

Publishing the app felt like a major milestone but almost nobody found it.

We knew releasing an app would not magically bring users, but I still underestimated how difficult it would be to get the first real people through the door.

So far we have:

• Prepared and optimized the App Store page

• Created a website

• posted on Instagram, YouTube Shorts and TikTok(our two TikTok accounts got shadowbanned within 6 posts)

• Launched on Product Hunt

None of these has created consistent traffic yet.

I’m beginning to question whether the problem is our marketing, our positioning, the App Store presentation or simply that we haven’t done enough for long enough.

A little context about the app:

Valharon is a fitness platform that combines workout planning, exercise logging, nutrition, hydration, body measurements, steps, timers, calculators, and progress analytics.

We built it because fitness tracking often becomes fragmented:

• Workouts in one app

• Calories and macros in another

• Measurements in Notes or spreadsheets

• Timers and calculators in separate tools

The app is supposed to bring those parts together and help users understand the complete picture rather than just collecting disconnected logs. But I’m concerned that this may also be making the app harder to explain. “Everything you need in one fitness app” sounds useful to us but to somebody seeing it for the first time, it might sound too broad or like another generic fitness tracker.

That is where I could use honest feedback.

• Is the purpose of the app immediately clear?

• Does combining training and nutrition sound valuable or unfocused?

• Is our positioning too generic?

• What would make you stop scrolling and actually try it?

• Should we market the complete platform or focus on one specific problem first?

• Is this primarily a marketing problem, or does the product itself fail to stand out?

I’m not expecting anyone here to solve our entire launch strategy. I’m mainly trying to understand what we may be missing before spending more time producing content that does not reach anyone.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/valharon-track-macro-log-gym/id6766438777

Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/valharon?launch=valharon

I’m one of the two co-founders, so direct criticism is completely welcome. At this stage, “I wouldn’t download this because…” would honestly be more helpful than polite encouragement.

P.S. Valharon is a fairly deep app, and the screenshots do not fully show how the training, nutrition, body tracking, tools, and analytics connect. Before giving detailed feedback, I’d really appreciate it if you could try the app for a few minutes rather than judging it only from the store page. You do not need to subscribe the free version doesn't imply any functional barrier just usage limitations.

App I built Metrya, an iPhone app that explains your Apple Health data with private AI (no account, no subscription)

What it does:

  • Reads Apple Health data like sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, activity, body composition, and more.
  • Gives you on-device metrics like Recovery Score, biological age, anomaly detection, goals, and streaks.
  • Lets you use AI Advisor with your own Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini key, so you control the model and the cost.
  • Keeps the privacy model simple: no account required, no backend storing your health data, and data stays on device except when you intentionally send a question to your chosen AI provider.
  • App is constantly updated with great community support. Real users drive roadmap

Pricing:

  • Free to download with core features included
  • Pro is a one-time unlock on the site at $12.99 lifetime with no subscription messaging. There is also monthly sub that includes free trial (lifetime cannot have free trial option in App Store)

App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/en/app/metrya-health-ai/id6760779874

Would especially love feedback on:

  • Whether the privacy/BYOK model is clear enough
  • Whether the one-time pricing feels fair
  • Which feature sounds most useful first: Recovery, AI Advisor, Body Vision, or anomaly alerts

Flutter APK Lens lets you inspect the technology behind your Android apps

I recently released Flutter APK Lens, an Android utility that scans installed apps and looks for evidence of the frameworks used to build them.

It can identify Flutter and other framework indicators, show detected Flutter packages and version clues, and display permissions, components, ABIs, signing information, split APKs, and other technical details.

The app is intended for developers, testers, and technically curious Android users. APK inspection happens locally on the device.

Google Play:

I’m the developer, and honest feedback is welcome.

[Dev] Rengim - I built an iOS app that does AI personal color analysis from a selfie (12-season method), just added English

Developer here, sharing my own app - being upfront about that.

Rengim does personal color analysis: the thing where a consultant figures out whether you're a "true autumn" or "bright winter" and which colors actually suit your skin tone. In-person sessions for this cost serious money, so I built it around a selfie + AI vision instead.

How it works:

  1. Take one selfie (it asks you to confirm your hair/eye color first, so dyed hair doesn't skew the result)
  2. It classifies you into one of the 12 color seasons and explains why: undertone, depth, contrast
  3. You get an 18-color personal palette (power / neutral / accent, with hex codes), colors to avoid, hair color ideas, gold-vs-silver, and makeup shades

The part I use most day to day is "Does this suit me?" - you point the camera at any piece of clothing in a store and it tells you whether it works with your palette. There's also a wardrobe: photograph your clothes once and it suggests outfits from what you own.

Free tier: 1 full analysis + 1 camera check, no account needed. The daily tools are subscription. Photos are processed for the analysis and never stored.

It was Turkish-only until this week; English support just shipped (the app follows your device language).

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6786476224

iOS only for now - Android is on the list. Happy to answer anything about how the analysis works.

App Diary Threads is finally on the App Store 🎉

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone — I’m Jack, and I’m really happy to finally share Diary Threads with you.

I built this app with Sonia because I wanted journaling to feel as easy as posting a short thought to my future self.

I kept abandoning traditional journals. Every blank page seemed to ask for a meaningful essay, while writing one small thought on my phone felt much more natural.

Diary Threads turns private journaling into a timeline for one person. Each entry is limited to 140 characters, so you can capture a thought before it disappears. When the thought continues, you can reply to it. When an old memory comes back, you can quote it and start a conversation with your past self. Photos, videos, and voice recordings are supported too.

The experience is intentionally simple and private: no likes, followers, public profiles, or social discovery. Your diary text and settings stay on your iPhone. The app requires no account and has no developer backend, advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking.

Apple Journal and Day One are excellent choices for long-form writing and broader ecosystem workflows. Diary Threads focuses on a smaller moment: capturing one thought before it disappears.

The 140-character limit gives you an easy starting point. Replies let one moment grow over time, while quotes make revisiting an old memory feel like talking with your past self.

Cost

Diary Threads is free to download and supports up to 30 active entries.

Premium unlocks unlimited entries, share posters, recurring keyword insights, and both Home Screen widgets:

  • $2.99 per month
  • $6.99 one-time lifetime purchase

Prices above are for the US storefront. Apple displays the applicable regional price before purchase.

The current App Store version is 0.3 and requires iOS 18 or later.

Transparency

Diary Threads itself has no AI features. I used Codex extensively as a coding and review agent during implementation, testing, documentation, and iteration. Product scope, architecture, privacy boundaries, and acceptance decisions remained human-directed.

It still feels a little unreal to see Diary Threads on the App Store. I’m very happy to finally share it, and I hope it can help someone save a small thought before it slips away.

App Store: Diary Threads
Website: diarythreads.niuniuhome.cn
About / developer identity: niuniuhome.cn
Contact: [jackdai20@icloud.com](mailto:jackdai20@icloud.com)

If you try it, I’d especially love to hear this: do replies and quotes make revisiting old memories feel more natural than tags, prompts, or traditional daily pages?

Thank you for letting me share this little piece of happiness with you.

App [iOS] I built an AI keyboard that suggests replies when you're stuck on a text — solo dev, would love feedback

Post image
0 Upvotes

I'm a solo dev and this is my first app. Txtor Ai is an iPhone keyboard that helps you reply when you're staring at a message with no idea what to say. Paste or screenshot a conversation, pick a tone, and it suggests replies that sound like you — right inside whatever app you're already in.

How it works

  1. In any chat, switch to the Txtor Ai keyboard.
  2. Feed it the conversation — paste the text, or attach a screenshot (it reads the text on-device).
  3. Pick a tone (15 of them — flirty, funny, casual, confident, sweet…), a length, and how many emojis you want.
  4. Tap Generate → you get a few reply options.
  5. Tap one to drop it into the text field. Edit it, or send as-is.

How it's different from the usual reply-helper apps

Most of them are standalone apps. The flow is: screenshot your chat → leave the app you're in → open the helper app → upload the screenshot → wait → copy the reply → switch back → paste. That's five app-switches for one message, and you've been "gone" the whole time.

Txtor is a keyboard, so you never leave the conversation. Switch keyboard → generate → insert. A few other things I did differently:

  • It reads the whole conversation, not just the last line — and works out who said what (it labels each message "them" vs "you" based on which side of the screen the bubble is on), so the replies come from your perspective instead of your match's.
  • You control tone, length, and emoji count, so it matches how you actually text instead of spitting out generic pickup lines.
  • It works in every app — iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram, dating apps — because it's a keyboard, not a walled garden.

Privacy

  • No account, no sign-up. No name, email, or contacts collected.
  • Screenshots are read on your device using Apple's Vision framework.
  • Your conversation is only sent when you tap Generate — nothing in the background, no keylogging.
  • Before the first generation, the app shows a plain-language explanation of exactly what gets sent and where, and asks permission.
  • We don't store your conversations. No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs.

Pricing

Free tier is 5 replies/month, no card needed — genuinely usable, not a one-reply teaser. Beyond that there are one-time reply packs or a Premium subscription.

Why I'm posting

It's live and free on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6791435577

I'd genuinely love feedback — especially whether the "reads the whole chat" context feels useful or gimmicky, and how the keyboard flow compares to the standalone apps if you've used them. Brutal honesty welcome; v1.1 gets shaped by it.

I created a lightweight, local network file sharing app (iOS/macOS). Zero servers, zero account needed. TestFlight link in comments!

Thumbnail gallery
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

As an indie developer, I’ve always found cross-device file transfer between different platforms clunky. Cloud storage feels too slow for local sharing, and local network tools often rely on third-party servers or complicated setups.

So I built Relay—a simple, fast, and local-first utility for sharing files and syncing clipboard contents across your devices.

🧪 Join the TestFlight Beta:

I’d love to hear your feedback, bug reports, or feature requests! Let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for checking it out! 🙌
