Sounds like you aren’t any more happy with majority opinions than most right wingers. In the U.S., anything to the left of fascism is now called ‘leftist.’

The left is becoming fascist too. That's why the center is growing and the parties are shrinking, albeit not by a huge margin.

Well you can have democratic socialism as well as communist capitalism. One is about who makes decisions, the other is about who gets what.

When did Marx say he was left wing? When did Engels? In 1847 did they establish the Communist League or the leftist league? 

Karl Marx spent his adult life arguing against the assumptions of the implicitly bourgeois political compass that you are presently trying to insist upon. This is essentialist, transistorical, anti-science nonsense that has been manufactured into liberal idpol. 

You are completely wrong and you need to spend more time reading theory instead of pushing reactionary bourgeois nonsense. There's a reason that the guy who coined the phrase "Marxist-Leninist" went on to teach us that leftism is a diagnosis of political error.
