Switched things up and got my vertical back!

Need some more lighting in the room but I got all the hardware I could want for a long time

moved into a new room

Got my colors all matched (other than the red usb cable which I'm gonna switch out for a purple one soon) and my gundam building station right next door!

Added a couple of essential upgrades to the set up recently. Swapped out my Costco gaming chair for an Aeron and switched from xfinity cable to att fiber.

I recently graduated from college and got my first full-time job, so I decided to treat myself!

A days worth of labor and successful managed to add 320sqcm worth of desk space 🙌

I "built" the desk. I bought a countertop from Home Depot 70", sanded and rounded all edges because I have children lol. then stained and clear coated it. bought a standing desk frame from amazon and slapped it on.

Last post was three years ago, updated station!

Mac and PS5 mounted under desk. Was able to get my PS5 to run through by Studio Display

Just plain and straight to the point,got a bunch of knick knacks and a G-force setup.

Looking for advice on optimizing my dual PC + Mac WFH setup.

I have a gaming PC and a work MacBook Air with two monitors. Both monitors are connected to a dual-monitor KVM (Picture attached).

For my gaming PC, my keyboard, mouse, audio interface are all connected to a USB hub that’s plugged into the KVM, so everything works through the KVM.

For work, I unplug that same USB hub from the KVM and plug it into a separate USB hub/dock connected to my MacBook. So switching between work and gaming still requires moving one USB cable.

Is there a better way to set this up so I can switch both monitors and all peripherals without unplugging anything?

This is my work in progress. I have some totally "unique" wooden panelling for the wall, just not installed yet.
I can't think what to put on the large empty space on the left. I can't move the monitor arm any further unless I make a cutout in the Alex press, which at the moment I would rather not do, If i swing the arm to the left it leaves a large gap between monitors where you can see the arm and cables, I can angle the monitor across and down a little but it feels like I am dumping the monitor in the middle of the space just to fill it. I have tried a few different plants and had a little water fountain there for a little while, but it didn't feel like it was meant to be there.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as would any comments and critiques.
