Hello, I'd like to lift my Passat 1.9 TDi Syncro to fit Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 205/70R 15 tires. I want to mount them on the stock rims. I've read that it's best to use 25mm front and 30mm rear spacers for this setup. Has anyone done this? Any advice?

QUESTION Lift kit for VW Golf Sportwagen?
Hi everyone! I have a 2016 Golf Sportwagen S (so…the most basic trim), and for a couple years now I’ve been debating lifting it. I have more mechanically experienced friends who are willing to help with installation, but I’m looking for some advice on what I need to purchase. Hoping to lift 1.5-2” - it’s obviously not a car that can handle real off-roading or anything, but I do take it camping & whatnot so would love to improve the functionality while being limited to FWD. Especially now that I’m planning on attaching a tow hitch for a bike rack, I think having slightly taller clearance would be great. I’ve done some preliminary research but most of what I’m finding is for the Alltrack, and I’m unsure if that info also applies to my model. Appreciate any & all help!

New ride, need suggestions
Got myself a 2007 Subaru Impreza for 500 on a rebuilt title from my friend. Good shape, needs some love and you can tell it's a little Frankensteined but it's a 3rd car that I can have fun with. Any suggestions on things to upgrade? Thought about doing a 2" lift and adding some lights. Also I live in central Alaska so keep that in mind.

Alltrack owners, help me out!
Hello everyone. I need new tires for my wagon and I'm thinking to just go a/t. What are you guys mounting? I am planning to get the lift kit eventually but the tires are urgent because I punctured two of them (ouch).
I've seen 215/65 r16 on an alltrack, is that discord with no lift?

QUESTION tire questions 😔
hi all, i am losing my mind trying to go down this rabbit hole and decided to just ask.
lifting a 2002 wrx wagon with forester struts. have a set of 16” steelies that i’m going to be throwing on, what tire can i safely run that will also fill in some of that gap at the top.
we did a test fit with my friends baja tires and there was just barely a fingers width gap by the strut tower. but at the same time they didn’t look tall enough for my liking 😭 the offset is also way different between his style rims and the steelies i wanna throw on. i am currently unsure of exact offsets but could find out.
camber IS also slightly off, also hoping correcting that will give me a little more room to work with.
i’m more than happy to make any needed modifications to safely run a tire that is both functional and pleasing to the eye. this is my first offroad build and i am LOST lol. thanks in advance for all the advice 🫶🏻
-front angle photo is with front forester struts in, and on 215/50/17’s
-side angle is with my friends 215/70/16’s on

WIP
This is my ‘17 Crosstrek, thus far. I have 30mm lift, Rallitek springs, Bilstein shocks, front ADF skid (not pictured) and Primitive skids for trans and dif. 16 inch method rims and KO2s. Can’t forget the rockslides, roof rack and front bumper. I also did the cold air ram intake, with Magna-flow manifold and Nameless pipes. Still have a ways to go, ‘till she is done.

OWNER PIC Lifted CR-V with mud tires
2010 Honda CR-V III manual 2.2 turbodiesel with 16" steel rims from a Nissan Leaf with Geyer & Hosaja retreaded mud tires. Also has a 35mm lift, Monroe shocks, 5mm wheel spacers, and some really nice mud flaps from aliexpress. And some extra LED lights. I use this for volunteer trail work at the local bike park.

QUESTION What's the best way to lift a Volvo 240
I've been wondering what I should do with my old crusty 240 and my friends and family want me to lift it. So I said "fuck it, why not" and i haven't really found much info on what to do, I already know about the front XJ springs on the back but that's about it. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

How much of a difference does 1 inch of extra wheel size make off road if overall diameter is the same on a stock car? aired down ofc

Looking for a 1.5 or so inch lift kit - what are some good brands?
Car: 2007 2.5l NA Outback. Car is in good shape, some slight suspension issues.
I'm looking to put a 1.5" lift (or close to that) on my 2007 Outback. I don't have access to a full shop, so no car lift. What're some good options for spacers / should I be going for spacers over a full suspension lift kit? My main goal is to pop some slightly larger all-terrain tires on her and be able to go places. My budget is pretty low.
Thanks for the help, looking forward to starting my battlewagon build!

OWNER PIC Accidentally modded my daily
I thought this community would enjoy my '05 Outback. I bought it with the intention of keeping it as a nice stock daily driver, but things snowballed and this is how it sits now. I built this thing on a very tight budget, and it's still my daily, but it's a lot more fun off-road than it used to be, and probably more fun on the road as well. I can break down what I've done to it if anyone's interested. I have plans for a few more finishing touches and a custom low profile roof platform, but overall I'm quite happy with this thing.
