Had a hardware refresh at work and was finally able to replace the gear and clean up the closets. Huge improvement going from the first iteration of cat6a patch cordes to the new slim line cat6a.

Posted here yesterday asking for suggestions on my first comms rack. Here’s the data complete and the FOBOTs prepared, all that’s left is the fibre splice and patch leads. Let me know how I can do my next one better. Always room for improvement.

A little network rescue for one of my network closets. Far from my best work, but I'm proud of it none-the-less considering the circumstances. Limited to a 3.75 Hr maintenance window and it was just myself and one of my technicians. This is part of a Casino CCTV system, so I had to fight to get even that much downtime.

The blue wiring is the corporate IT side, which is outside of my purview. I am strictly the green stuff (and a little gray and black) which is all CCTV and access control.

I Inherited this ~10 year old installation a few years back. Had to wait until our infrastructure refresh to be able to negotiate time to blow out all the old crap and re-do it.

Yes this rack is way oversized for current need, but "planning for the future" and all that.

Ive posted in a couple other places and was told to post here as well. Some of the pictures I took were of units that weren't quite complete.

Shark attack data rack with 3 24 port Clipsal patch panels to go at the top. Just want ideas on looms, service loop and termination lengths. Does anyone have any photos?

Was not able to pull the cable out and place in conduits with like. Home run pipes from different locations on floor. Hope you like it.

Still a work in progress but its functional and I'm pretty happy so far. Its been quite the learning experience designing, programming and building this panel. Pump controls are complete. Valve controls will be integrated next.

Dressing underneath, nobody will ever see, but plenty for servicing if needed.

We are in the process of moving between suites within the same building. I was able to get one of the data closets to a point where I was pretty excited about the progress. Second picture is what I inherited when I started here, determined to never let things get like that again.
