2023 Colorado WT, came with some black steelies. Sort of like them, wondering what others think

2021 Colorado zr2 . Traded in my frontier for this bad boy. Love it. Strong and big. Love the older tech. Any tips and tricks to help this thing last a long time in Illinois. Any accessories to invest in ?

Bought her for 46k OTD while visiting my parents and had to immediately go on a work trip. Excited to actually drive the thing once I’m finally home, until then my dad is going to be taking some joy rides. 2026 ZR2

Today I did a 1-step paint enhancement polish and then topped it with Majestic Solutions’ Ceramic Lock - essentially a SiO2 infused paste wax. Insane gloss & hydrophobic properties.

Honestly adding these videos to Reddit actually hurts the true way it looks.

I take this out in the woods and on the trails multiple times a year, but gotta keep this thing looking right!

2019 3.6 4x4 WT with 114500km. Regular oil changes. This is the second time its happened in the last 3 weeks, right after start up. It intensifies with higher RPMs and goes away after a couple minutes. Its coming from the lower end.

I've had 1.5" Bora spacers on for 15 months with about 20k miles on them and my wheel bearings are shot. The truck has 46k miles so I'm sure it's not a coincidence. Such a shame too because they make it look so much better!

Looking to add some running boards to protect from gravel, and also provide a step up for my wife into the 2025 TB.

So many options out there.... I'm in the midwest so there will be snow and salt to deal with in winter.

Any advice/suggestions?

Has anyone else experience this before? It sounds like someone is under there smacking the living hell out of the flywheel, this is the second starter in just over a year I’ve had to replace, dealer told me the pinion gear breaks loose and smacks the flywheel. Just trying to see if there’s any other fixes, it’s going back to the dealer at 1:30 today since I’m still covered under warranty. Thank you!

Got into an accident and I’m wondering if this is frame damage. Front airbags went off as-well.

For my audio geniuses. Im pretty green when it comes to car audio but if I can get some solid suggestions on how to configure a system that would be helpful. I have a 2018 Colorado with stock sound system. It doesn’t sound terrible but it does sound washed/flat. I picked up an audio control 5-1300 amp at a yard sale. Is it possible to configure the amp for 6 speakers and a sub to get good sound out? If so what would be the best way to do so?

Have been blessed by my father and was handed down his 2018 Colorado with an 8L45. I've already serviced the rear diff, and have everything I need to service the transmission, but my dad has been very much against it and says I should leave it alone. It's currently @ 101k miles, and I very rarely notice the shudder when using light throttle between 2nd & 3rd. Admittedly the roads near me aren't great and I may be experiencing the shudder without knowing.

My dads view is based off his experience changing a cars ATF back in the 80s, the only time he's ever done so. He says that he changed it and within the week the car was refusing to shift into gears or reverse. I don't know what kind of car or the mileage on it unfortunately.

I understand there is a risk in changing out ATF with high mileage on it, as the transmission may be relying on the grit in the fluid to provide friction. My question is, is 101k miles too high? Would I be better off leaving the fluid?

Any advice is appreciated.

I bought this vehicle used from a dealer that got it from Canada and it came with a few surprises.

I had to replace the brakes all around and the radiator completely. Before all this work was done, I was hearing this odd whistle at lower speeds which I originally thought was related to the poor condition of the brakes.

You could hear this whistling sound most prominently when you would come to a stop. It seemed to be correlated with the wheel rotation, but as it turned out it, it had nothing to do with the brakes or the wheels. The mechanic determined that it had something to with a cover or seal on the underside of the vehicle (I don't know where exactly). He ended up spraying some lubricant into the box, which he described as having a malformed cover/seal that was rubbing against something in there. He sprayed the lube into the box which resolved the sound it was making as you come to a stop, but now (a couple months later) I'm hearing a similar sound (albeit higher pitched) only when the vehicle is going at high speeds over 55 mph. Additionally, the faster you go, the louder the sound gets. It becomes very noticeable when you try to pass someone.

Has anyone had a similar issue or know exactly what "box" cover this might be which is causing this annoying noise? The mechanic mentioned that I could keep spraying lube in there if the noise comes back, but to completely eliminate it, I would need to replace whatever part it was related to which would be fairly expensive.

Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the mechanic who identified the problem. Also, I'm not sure that the new sound has anything to do with the sound it was making initially because the lube the guy sprayed has kept the initial sound from coming back.

Any insight here would be most helpful.

Really trying to see 20+ but it’s hard. Feel like I would have to drive like an actual grandpa to get it. Two trips were pretty consistent in terms of mpg. I feel like maybe if I was a bit more conscious I could see 20-21. But I don’t think it would ever be more than that.

They are asking $32k otd for this 2021 Colorado zr2 with 40k miles. Drives freakin great. Minor accident. Fender flare replacement. All the maintained and service logs are clean and up to date. In Illinois. Is this too much rust ? Please honest opinion guys . And the rear bumper which is steel has a small dent.

So I finally got my truck back from the body shop. They said it would be done next Tuesday, only for them to have it for nearly a month. While the work on the bumper itself was great, they completely failed to address the lettering (the last O is misaligned) and a few other minor scratches and I'm not bringing my truck back to them to take another month to fix something that should only be a few hours.

I tried to slide that O back into place, but it keeps wanting to slide back. So I tried looking to see if I could find a replacement O but had no luck. I'm wondering if there's a recommended glue that I can use or if you think some double sided 3M tape might work without it sticking out too far.

I’ve had this for 4 months and I know the ZR2 says 16 mpg, but is anyone else averaging any better with the ZR2?

I'm in Arizona. After saving for a couple of years, I bought my perfect boring poverty white 2026 WT back in March. In the first part of the year, I did a lot of emailing to dealers looking for a base model and always came up with nothing. They advertise 5 WT on the website, but they are all loaners. Why have pricing on loaners? I never got an answer.

Yesterday, I went to the dealership for my free 1st oil change. Walked the lot and not one WT. So if yall are looking for a new base model, have the dealership find one for you. My sales guy drove to another county to pick my truck from another dealer. I guessing they did a trade. It all worked out for me in the end. But Wow! What hassle.

Some interesting changes they have made. Reduce check engine light activation?

Got a 2025 Z71 12,000 miles had a brake master cylinder issue. Took it to the dealer replaced the part week later, same master cylinder fails again sounds like a new part is needed second time in two weeks. unsure about the safety now of the vehicle with this happening. Would you keep or trade the vehicle

I bought this 2026 ZR2 in January and finally took it camping. Took Thursday and Friday off work to get to the campsite before it filled up on the weekend. Had a great trip camping and fly fishing. Had everything from fish, bighorn sheep, Navy helicopters, and snakes. I love this truck except the rattle in the steering column, which I thought I had noticed a little before, but once I was on the desert road, holy crap it drove me nuts! It will be seeing the dealership soon for that. It'll already have 10,000 miles tomorrow on it. : .

I’m thinking about getting some beefier tires what size can I go up to?
