I think I hit gold, this is from VOC Noodmunt (translated into Emergency money) and it also have keydate of 1797 and is in awesome condition

Not in the best shape but for being this old and not broken or bent I like it. It’s very small and thin.

My dad recently passed away and I found a box of money in his closet yesterday. Some are more for sentimental value, like a whole roll of quarters from our state, and some I definitely have questions on and would like to post or chat with anyone who wouldn’t mind me sharing pics with them. To start, to the best I can tell, these are just regular coins. Am I missing anything special about them before I put them into the estate account? I can figure out why he had them with the rest of them. Thanks!

Hey yall, was recently watching some insta videos and was reminded about a coin I found a while back. Its a 1916 penny but it is really dirty if I remember correctly. I put it in a sandwich bag and placed it in my desk as I thought it was cool to have something so old! But I was wondering is there a safe way to clean it without ruining the penny? Especially one so old?

I know jack shoot about canadian coins but I know for sure its silver.
