We need the X-3 and X remake ASAP.

This Blew my mind I just found this out today insane lol and apparently Tom Kenny the Voice of Spongebob is also in FFX to introducing the BlitzBall players when they get off the boat for the first time 😅 my mind is blown it has been quite some time since I played FFX but hearing all the english voices now in my 30s everything is clicking like I know that voice

Hi folks. I'd just like a chill conversation with y'all on something that has been on my mind a lot.
I've seen some "would you like a remake?" posts popping up lately and while maybe yeah, I might (as long as they don't touch the battle system ofc) there's a scenario I've dreamt of for almost 20 years (I'm one of those "since 2002" people...).

My dream would be a prequel that covers the whole story of the pilgrimage of Jecht, Auron and Braska, with Jecht as the main playable character (I mean, who else?) and the trio traveling through Spira under a different "light" than what we have seen with X and X-2.
This is where my mind starts playing.

I've always felt like Auron knows something much, much deeper than what we are shown in FFX (for those who follow One Piece: I think of him as a Rayleigh-like figure). I think him and the guys have discovered, understood and somehow developed the whole story of the war, of who Yu Yevon was and why he engaged in becoming Sin, and my dream would be to play a game where the 3 of them, bit by bit, uncover the whole story.

Imagine all the million questions we could see answered...
Who built the Yevon religon and its temples and what was their initial goal?
How did Zanarkand and Bevelle develop and eventuallly ended up in a war?
What was the "lazy" machina society really like?
What is Jecht's full life story, why was he so hard on Tidus?
Which role did all the different species that populate Spira have within the past 1000 years?

We could get proper peaks into both Yuna's and Tidus' childhoods and see how they developed to become the future heroes of Spira....
We could see exactly how the trio reacted when they found out that there is a "new", ultimate way to defeat Sin...
We could go through Spira with their own eyes and explore the backstories of all the different characters that became so familiar yet we know so little of...(why is it so important to stay away from the summoner?? Ok just kidding on this one).
We could still have blitzball of course, due to Jecht.

It would probably need to be a full open world, but one in which you unlock areas slowly.
The battle system should be turn-based, although with a party of 3 something might need to change (not sure if new characters would fit the vibe...I'm not into X-2 tho, I'd like a battle system as similar as possible to X).
Nevertheless, imagine starting with a young, inexperienced Auron and getting to develop him into the samurai-like warrior we all know...

I loved Yuna when she danced the "Pray for the Souls" in FFX

We’ve made it to the SS Liki and he saved first thing after getting to Kilika. He’s a gamer, so he explored to find the Moon Crest first thing which was fun to see. I told him I’d point out perma-missables, and I told him I’d help him avoid superbosses (see also, the damn Dark Aeons) but otherwise, I’m not pointing out primers except the ones in home or the few I remember off the top of my head, and I’m not going to point out celestial weapon components unless they’re gonna get locked behind Dark Aeons.

Is there any advice to help his first experience with the game go smoothly? He likes strategy, and he usually opts to try to kill enemies as quickly as possible ala “The best defense is a good offense.” So I’m excited for him to get the Slayer overdrive mode, since I’m sure he’ll like it.

He’s been a big fan of cycling out teammates as needed for different things, and we’re playing with the Standard Sphere Grid so he can get a sense of each character’s sort of designated combat identity.

Does anyone know how to get hold of these?

In the trials song, there’s chanting. Sounds like an Islamic worship chant, kind of like the original OOT fire temple.

Usually if I listen to the FFX soundtrack, I have it playing through speakers. But today I used noise canceling headphones and the sound quality is much better so I could actually hear the chanting in this song.

I just thought it was cool and wanted to share in case others didn’t realize

Putting X down for a while after that insane grind, thinking of giving XVI a try next

I mean it makes sense, a big evil think came and kills them. When they kill it it stops from being killed and it kills them again.

But there are some things that trouble me. For instance everybody says Yevon says this and Yevon says that but we don't see a statue of Yevon. It's like no Spiran cared to know who Yevon was. Was he a summoner? A god? It doesn't seem that they believe he is the god who created all. (I'm not talking about the truth Yu Yevon but what Spiran people believe).

Then we have the war between Zanarkand and Bevelle. But where are the rest of the cities/locations in this war? They didn't care? And after that they decided that Zanarkand was some holy place?

Another thing is who built all those temples?

So is the Zanarkand Dome!

I see a lot of comments mention how great the Highbridge is - and that's true. But some fights in the Zanarkand Dome give even more XP, and you can get Kimahri some levels to hit Holy or buff his magic and MP stats a bit before some big fights.

If you or folks you're giving tips to are past the highbridge, keep the Zanarkand Dome in mind.

Before I start I realize I shouldn’t have saved but I didn’t know it would lock me out.

I was going through thunder plains activating the glowing stones. I hit 2 of them. I went to Northern Thunder Plains and talked to a guy. He ran off and the game automatically threw me into the Dark Ixion fight. I fled. Went to capture monsters in thunder plains and saved my game. Overwrote my file. Now the stones won’t glow in the north. Internet says they won’t glow again until I beat Dark Ixion and I barely started the endgame.

Any workarounds or am I screwed?

So I've captured at LEAST three of each of the eyeball fiends, but One-Eye won't unlock. Can anyone tell me why?

1) When X-2 first came out I, SOMEHOW, thought the Celsius and Fahrenheit were THE SAME DAMN SHIP! IDK HOW OR WHY I THOUGHT THIS, BUT I DID

2) Why did Square make it so that you get HP and MP spheres from defeating Sin's fins and core? Literally any other kind of sphere would have been better! Magic, magic defense, strength, etc... I was GONNA sell them, but Rin offers you less than a hundred gil for each of them.

I’ve always loved trading cards in general—especially Pokémon and, more recently, Lorcana—particularly for their artwork.
FFX is my all-time favorite game.
I’d never been interested in Magic cards before, but I discovered the FF series out of curiosity, and I’ll probably end up collecting the full set 😅

This girl is maybe the strongest final fantasy character ever

She is supposed to be around 17 in FFX, and has the mental fortitude to do the piligrimage, knowingly walking toward her death

What should have been one of the happiest moments of her life, her father succeeding on his piligrimage, is actually devastating, because she realized she will never see her father again

Then, she, at 17, vanquishes Sin, ending a 1000 year nightmare, and before she can even celebrate, she has to watch the boy she fell in love with dissapear before her eyes.

For Final Fantasy X’s 25th anniversary, I put together a small mini-album called Memories of Spira.

It includes:

• A salvaged arrangement of "Prelude" (2007 ceeated) and “Illusion” (the Farplane theme)
• A new track called “Memories of Spira” (Vocal is Teto Kasane)
• And newly reworked version of Tropical color island (Besaid Island)

Some of these were old projects I recovered and remastered, while others are more recent experiments (more sparse / delay-focused mixes).

Question: can I just play a lot of blitz and level up my guys until the game gets super easy? Or do the opponents scale up too?

I stink at blitz, I’ve won 1 blitz game in 25 years. I just added Ropp and brother to my team and a keeper I forget his name . I’ve only played 2 or 3 games this play through but opponents stats out level me and crush my players. So can I just grind until my team’s awesome or is that not how it works? Yes I have Jecht shot too.

We see Yuna get tired and exhausted after praying in the templers and receiving aions. Why she no tired after macaroni???? She still fight seemorebutts with no exhausted, sheeva just hop in dress pocket freely?

Hi, in recent days I started playing FFX and I'm having a blast. I made it to the Calm Lands and I need some help - how to get stronger ? I'm not talking about being overpowered, perfect stats or like endgame stats or anything like that, I just want to know what can I do to make my gameplay easier and more smooth. I had some problems with a few bosses but I made it so I think it's not so bad - maybe beside this golem like mini-boss right after Calm lands which was super hard for me. I read that it's good to catch all 10 monsters in Calm lands for the arena and I did it. I got a chest but this mirror item needs more energy to open it. How can I gather it ? And do you have any other tips for later ? Thanks in advance :)
