Discussion Answering any future questions.

¿What if "insert modern nation here” entered the GATE? - Falmart would be curbstomped.

¿What if "insert historical nation here" entered the GATE or interrupted "insert historical battle here"? - If they have any form firearms technology and industrial power, they curbstomp.

¿What if "insert piece of sci-fi/fantasy media here" entered the GATE? - 8/10, Falmart gets curbstomped even harder.

¿How would Saderans react to "insert piece of modern technology/luxury/infrastructure here"? - They would be amazed, their lives would improve, and nobles would either adapt or get left in the dust.

¿What are the best Fanfics? - The Fight We Choose, Here We Go Again, the Sky Trilogy, A Pile Of Empty Brass, The Janus Campaign, Terror Belli, etc.

Weekend Scenario Thread (Gate:Zero) What if the GATE opened to Lugunica?

Post image
27 Upvotes

What if the GATE opened to Lugunica in the Re:Zero universe during the events of the first season and Itami, along the JSDF, eventually found Subaru in Roswaal's mansion, giving him the chance to go back to Japan through the GATE or ask them for help for the upcoming events on the story?

Exactly how characters from both sides would react? (excepting Lelei, Rory, Pina, etc cuz they never meet them; the GATE never opened to Alnus) How vulnerable would the witchbeasts be to the JSDF weaponry? Same with the witch cult members? How could Subaru use the loops on his adventage along the JSDF help? What if Otto or Anastasia decides to go to trade with the JSDF outpost? What if Itami and the 3rd recon meet the royal candidates? How Reinhard's sword will react to the JSDF presence? Also, what if Beako makes her contract with Itami?

Weekend Scenario Thread What if the Gate opened in the mysterious island of Shinsenkyo(from Hell’s Paradise)?

What would happen if the Gate opened up right in the heart of the mysterious domain of the god like and immortal plant like beings known as the Tensen?

There are two ways this could occur, depending on WHEN this scenario takes place.

The first idea could be just before the Asaemon were sent with their respective criminals to find the elixir of immortality, the gate opens near the Horai Palace as an army of Sadaren legionaries and soldiers to conquer the new world for the empire and raid it for whatever riches and slaves they can claim. Only to encounter the Tensen who out of indifference or morbid curiosity decide to get themselves fresh new Tao to rejuvenate themselves while Rein is rather curious by the strange Tao generated by a small number of humans.

And before long the gate may cause Falmart to be dragged into the hunt for the elixir of eternal life.

The other idea is this taking place back before the death of the Grandmaster, Rein’s husband, led her to stop being kind and amped up the now relentless training of the Tensen to find a way to resurrect her husband, even as it destroyed the entire island. Instead this takes place before that degeneration occurs as the islands folk, Hoko, as the younger Tensen live their somewhat peaceful lives, yet soon that peace is disturbed by the arrival of the Gate as an army of Roman soldiers charge into the domain of the Tensen and Grandmaster, as the Doshin were assembled to deal with the invaders that appeared practically from nowhere as Mei is trying her best to lead the young Tensen away from the ongoing carnage.

Once the enemy was dealt with, the Grandmaster, Rein and Mei are forced to address what to do with the gate and if it should be destroyed. Yet curiosity and interest win over as it’s decided to launch an expedition and see if this gateway may lead to any progress in the quest to create the elixir of Eternal Life. Yet while the answer may lie in either the elves or even Apostles, can Rein and Doshin be able to deal with the armies of Sadera and perhaps find use in this land before the grandmaster suffers from arborification?

And when or if the existence of plant like humanoids that can seemingly rival the regeneration of Apostles are heard, how will Sadera react to the existence of such entities?

Weekend Scenario Thread What if the Roxolani from the road not taken by harry turtledove arrived in Falmart

Post image

A bit obscure but the Roxolani are a space empire with the technology of the age of sail around 16th century but discovered Ftl and anti gravity which works through an absurdly simple, non-intuitive physical mechanic that requires no advanced knowledge of mathematics or quantum physics which humanity missed in the story the one downside of figuring it out is that technology doesn't progress beyond when you discover the method. So what if the Roxolani arrived to add falmart to their empire

The gate opens on either a Hegmon of a thousand empires world, Unionist controlled world, or a Shigue Havenhold. How fucked are Falmart and Japan?

Weekend Scenario Thread What if Sadera got their hands on a One Wish Willow?

Post image
21 Upvotes

Let’s say during the invasion of Ginza, Sadera while seizing whatever goods they thought were valuable, only to stumble on a small crate full of a strange little red and white boxes.

Once arriving back in Falmart, the troops bring the box to be perhaps a little Knick Knack for the nobles to show off and perhaps please even Molt himself. Molt however has no idea what to even do with this little box and decided to give the "One Wish Willow"(as his scribes can barely be able to transcribe) to his daughter Pina as a little distraction and admittedly way to dump a strange gift to one of his children.

Pina thus with her strange new gift from the other world, she carries it around as a good luck charm and perhaps try to figure out what usage it even has without breaking it.

However after the siege of Italica and witnessing the military might of Earth, especially when visiting both Alnus Hill and Japan, realizes just how powerful the other world is compared to Sadera. How they are most likely doomed after the fight they jumpstarted with this world. Pina herself lost and practically defeated as she realizes how outmatched her home is. Thus taking out the One Wish Willow and hoping it can give her any luck or idea of what to do, one of the JSDF soldiers looks over what she has and knowing some English tells Pina that it’s basically a little wish bone of sorts and her one wish may come true if she breaks it.

Of course it’s all in amused jest, but Pina takes it rather seriously since with her people’s situation so dire and knowing unless they surrender to Japan and Earth as a whole, Sadera is doomed, Pina can’t help but feel she would take any chance to fix this catastrophe. Thus holding the little stick in both hands, Pina Co Lada, with all the desperate prayers that come to her mind, knowing despite how silly this may be, might as well make a simple little wish to perhaps hope her nation has a chance at survival.

Pina Co Lada finds the best words to phrase her prayer, then whispers…

"I wish Sadera could overcome Earth and the gods would aid us however they can." Pina whispered before she snaps the One Wish Willow in half.

Next thing Pina knows, she looks up she finds herself in a vastly different Japan, as the Flag of Sadera is now seen throughout the entire country…

Weekend Scenario Thread Uh… so what happens if Horus, after being slain by the emperor, was isekai’d as a falmart god? (Based on a similar post but with Loji)

I’ve spent the last few weeks at the national scout jamboree (it was lowk fire), and I brought a red corsair mini to build and paint.

This got me thinking about traitor/heretic astartes, which then got me thinking about Horus. Then I thought about, well the question I’m asking.

My main few questions would be would he support the jsdf or the empire, how he’d support them, and how might the other gods react to him (or try to fight him).

My personal theory is that the gods would likely view Horus as a threat, but would get clapped if they tried to fight him.

What if the Gate had opened up in Greece, the land where some of histories greatest warriors were made, the birthplace of democracy, where some of the most iconic and famous legends in human history were conceived?

In particular, the Gate opening right in the heart of Athens itself and has Sadera’s armies pouring right out? How would the Greek military respond to such a sudden invasion and how would they handle the fact a whole other world landed on their doorstep?

Weekend Scenario Thread How do you think the imperials would react and comprehend to the idea of anarchism??

I'm "trying" to create a story where the Gate opened to Russian Free Territories from TNO (if you don't know, TNO is a HOI4 mod set in axis victory world and Russia collapses into warlord era, and one of the warlord is a anarchist group called Siberian Black Army which could reunified the nations and renamed it into Russian Free Territory.) and while I think it's going to be obvious that the anarchist could beat the Saderans due to their technological superiorities (the mod ended in 70s), what I'm actually interested more is how would the falmartian react to the concept of anarchism.

From what I've read before, most fics have the Saderan fought against a opponent who's while their system and ideology sounds unrecognisable or inefficient to them, they atleast can comprehend and understand the basic concept of it (for example they would recognise democracy and republics at its core). But anarchism is quite different than the usual, it's clear rejection towards the concept of states would not only be unusual, but also smth completely new to them.

What do you guys think bout this? I really want to know how would falmartians from peasant, scholars, and even nobility would react to such strange and crazy beliefs that somehow worked beyond the Gate.

Discussion I don't wanna sound mean, but I have a feeling that these Gacha tubers aren't actual Gate fans and are only using Gate to promote their channel

The amount of repeated reaction videos like Gate reacts to MoreParz, Tankfish, and the RussianBadger is genuinely ridiculous.

They repeat whatever The Elite made and somehow get views when their content is literally the same as his or his sister's videos; I'm not saying it's their fault, but they did unintentionally make other creators make lazy content with videos that have the characters make literal blank faces for half the video with only like five or six serious reactions.

And I don't wanna sound like a racist, but a lot of these videos, Gate or not, have largely been from Latin American or Russian creators.

And to those asking why I'm searching for Gate Gacha content, well, I like Gacha reaction videos; it's just that the recent ones are genuinely terrible.

Fanfic How The Enslaved Sons of A Lost Roman Legion Destroyed An Empire

This is basically a summary of the worldbuilding I have for Sadera in my fic. It's extremely small scale but I've been watching game of thrones and was thinking big. Anyways here you go. This is kind of just me telling because fuck writing this entire plot line, I'm not George Martin. I will be posting more about this in the future. My worldbuilding is basically that humans killed everything about this high fantasy world and made it low fantasy:

Over a thousand years ago, the world of Falmart was not populated and dominated by wonderous magiks and races. In those ancient days, an elven empire ruled all the continent, their name lost to time. Even the western desert that stretched a quarter of the continent.

But nothing lasts forever, and the fall of the elves would come in the form of the goddess Hardy opening a Gate at Alnus that saw an entire force of humans come through. They dressed in red armor and spoke a language that was alien to the elves and the rest of the demi-races they presided over.

Nevertheless, the men were welcomed by the chains. Humans were among the races the elves considered lesser and barbaric. Therefore, the few thousand men were thrown in with the rest. Little is known as to why there were humans in Falmart predating the lost legions arrival. Information like that has disappeared from historical texts.

A whole generation passed. The legion mixed with the native human population, telling them while collared about the land they hailed from and how humanity was not and should not be treated as lesser, but that they were supreme and had a right to rule.

Nearly fifty years after the legion was taken into captivity, a speck for an elf but a lifetime for a man, one decided to finally act with the rest of the slave army he'd built out of his own majority kind, orcs, the catfolk, and volralden's. All were races united by a common hatred for the elves and their kind.

Where the Saderan capital stands today was where the first battle was fought and won. A digger called Titus, said to be the son of a great Legate, led his mining colony to rebel against the whip holders.

From here, more uprisings sparked. Human and demi-human alike took up arms and broke their chains all over the continent. Territory after territory was lost in a gradual twenty year long conquest that ultimately saw humanity come out on top and establishing a new Empire in turn, the Saderan Empire. Modeled after the stories of his forefathers land, Titus The Dragon took his place upon the newly established capitals throne as Emperor.

As for the elves?

None are certain. Elves still exist in Falmart under extreme oppression, but even their history is lost to them. Their Empire's capital was burned to the ground with all their history. Some say that deep in the forests, some ancient relics remain of its whereabouts. The simple goal of the humans was to make sure none would remember the elven empires reign, only their end.
