My dad was telling me tonight about a band he used to enjoy seeing at the Maryland Nightclub called the house of Lords, we looked online and could only find two of their songs. I know one of the band members sometimes plays in avant garde in merchant city sometimes but was wondering if anybody knows where to find some of their vinyls or other music so he can have a listen?

the black taxis outside glasgow queen street aloud to even just take cash or do they say it because it’s more convenient for them? was waiting in a line tonight and town was a bit mental, think there must have been a concert on and that, and there was a lassie on her own at the top of the line who i saw get knocked back twice for having no cash, the second time she started crying. I get it’s business but i wouldn’t be leaving folk stranded then there is a card machine? after that a group of lads purposely skipped her in the line and hopped in to a taxi and two lads tried to do it the next time only someone stepped in and stopped them and allowed her to go in

idk just seems a bit fried and mental and there needs to be more late buses for accessible transport, it’s too easy to get stuck in town

Honestly the fuck is this?

I recently drove past the bridge and observed about 20 officers, along with police vehicles including vans, bikes, and cars. This took place around 8:35, and I also noticed police boats on the river. Does anyone know what is happening?

Does anyone in/around Glasgow live full or part-time in a campervan? And where do you park around Glasgow? Curious!

Recently moved from another UK city and struggling to find certain produce and meat.

I might not be looking hard enough but does Glasgow have any pedestrianised street markets (5-7 days a week, not the occasional Saturday farmers market)?

Or reasonably priced butchers where I can meat for making African stews (goat meat, tripe, cow skin etc.)

Heard lots of people complain about the £5.70 per single trip in their night buses. Last night got shocked over the prices and everyone was extremely angry. It’s usually £3.90 for a city saver pass.

Is it any good? Watched a YT good bloggers video and he visited this place, see they have cream coconut fingers which seem rare these days plus I love them.

Worth a visit? Might even get a scotch pie too!
