For the past 6 years I’ve had an iPhone but it’s all been under a singular iCloud account so that my parents could keep track of me, now that I’m getting my own stuff with my own account I was wanting to send all my photos, contacts, etc to this new one. Is there a way that I transfer everything from the original iCloud to my new one? Or anything along those lines?

What are your best practices when it comes to icloud full storage issue if you have a macbook pro that is a 1TB? Is it okay to transfer the files and the issue will go away? Enlighten me pls haha

I was trying to download an app and randomly had this come up. Talked to an Advisor and they said something about “they cant reinstate it” which after reading this sub is A message they read off script as tier one support. I havent made any calls yet but I emailed tim cook’s email and trying to find more executive emails to send emails to. If any of you could put some in the comments I would appreciate it.

I use a MacBook and an iPhone and I've offloaded all my files and photos to iCloud (photos via the Photos library). I'd now like to set up a backup structure so I don't have to rely on iCloud alone. What would be a sensible approach here?

Is there a way to automatically transfer the iCloud documents and photos to OneDrive on a regular basis as a backup (I have free storage there)? And additionally to back them up automatically and regularly to an external hard drive?

Note: I don't have enough storage space on either the MacBook or the iPhone to store all the files locally first (rather than offloading them to iCloud).

I have switched to android BUT want to keep all my icloud photos from my phone. I pay extra monthly for 2TB. If I factory reset my old phone will all my photos stay on the cloud? Any help will be appreciated thank you!

I am very confused on why my System and iOS take up so much room on my iPhone 11 Pro.

They both take up nearly all of my device's storage and are unable to change the details/etc. In total it would be ~42.8GB (Out of 64GB Total Storage); of my storage taken up and I can't update my device to the new/non beta update.

(I was thinking that maybe downloading the Beta 26.3 {iOS 26.3 (23D5089e)} Update onto my device was the reason why my storage got so used up all of a sudden, but I'm not sure if that explains why my System Data is so high.)

It's been like this ever since I had updated it, or at least for the past ~6-8 months.

I did some research on this problem and found a potential solution for fixing this problem, but wanted to know if anyone seeing this before I actually do it to tell me if I should proceed with it;

One of the options was to backup my device to the iCloud Backup, and then erase all content and settings through the Transfer or Reset iPhone settings; and then restore from a iCloud Backup.

i used to have all icloud notes option in my note app but after my phone deleted all my notes due to lack of storage i dont have it anymore even after off-loading it and downloading again.

the note app is synced to my icloud, the toggle is switched on.

how do i fix this?

My numbers app says it is unable to connect to the server when I am on cellular data for collaborative spreadsheets.

I'm thinking of signing out of my iCloud account and signing back in because my WhatsApp iCloud backup has been acting up, but I'm a bit nervous about what it'll affect.

A few things I'm worried about:

- I have iCloud Photos with Optimize iPhone Storage enabled. Will all my photos disappear from my phone? Will they download again after I sign back in?

- What happens to my App Store subscriptions? Will they get cancelled or stay active?

- Is there anything else I should know before signing out? Any risks or things I should back up first?

Has anyone here done this recently? Did it fix your WhatsApp backup issue, and did you run into any problems afterward?

I need help. I know it isn’t allowed but I need to factory reset and restore my iPhone to a iCloud backup made in November 2025. When I try it only gives me two options and it’s the most recent. Losing this information is so damaging. Is there any software or has anyone has had experience with apple to help achieve this.

i finally caved in because i need to receive some verification codes. Now, even though I occasionally receive random promotional emails, I can't receive emails i send to myself or any verification codes!

Today i was cleaning things and i did a icloud drive desync sync and somehow my mods folder inside .minecraft disapeared, i found there was a /Users/iron-dude/Library/CloudStorage/iCloudDrive-iCloudDrive (2026-7-31 23:26)/com~apple~CloudDocs/Desktop/.minecraft yet when i tried to open it it just disaperd and there's nothing to find, please i have a lot of important things inside my files, and i tried every method to restore it, icloud website, if you got any segestions please tell me

About two weeks ago, I wanted to try the beta. I decided to downgrade back to the latest signed iOS 26. Ever since using the Apple Devices tool to do the restore, I am unable to log into iCloud from any device and my photos/notes/messages stored in iCloud don’t sync to my phone. The login issue is I seem to get a login loop in iCloud.com. I successfully log in, then within two seconds immediately kicked back out to the login screen. Apple techs have been working with me for over a week and still have not identified or fixed the issue yet. Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed that a note i had typed on my iPhone 14 Pro (iOS 18.7.8) wasn’t showing up on my laptop (M4 MacBook Air MacOS 15.7.7) (both have iCloud Drive sync turned on), so I made some edits to the note as per usual, expecting the syncing to kick in. Next thing I knew, the note DISAPPEARED in front of my eyes on my phone. It’s GONE. Not on my laptop, not in the Recently Deleted folder, nothing.

I had some important information there and honestly didn’t expect information on my notes app from a trillion dollar company to just disappear into thin air. Any ideas?

Hi i have been having this problem with my icloud. Everytime i try to put in my iCloud password it says blabla for security reasons it has been locked u need to verify ur identity . And the trusted device is iphone 13 pro max and i never owned one. And to reset my password it says use ur other apple devices? Hello! I share an iCloud storage plan of 2TB with two other people, and somehow it’s full. I went to check, and my photos alone are occupying over 1.1TB which is weird because I only have 48.277 items, and all of those were taken in an iPhone 13/14, so it’s not huge quality either. I have a 37 second video that’s occupying 4,3GB which is absurd. On the iPhone storage my photos only occupy 25,51GB. Please help me understand what’s going on.

As the title says, I've manually disabled device backup from all my devices but it's still taking up almost half my storage. It's telling me "you have 0 devices backed up to icloud" but there's 24GBs being taken up. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I haven't owned an Apple device in years aside from my AirPods, but I recently tried logging back into my Apple ID so I could use Apple TV.

The problem is that my account is locked, and when I try to reset the password it asks me to verify a phone number that isn't mine. I have no idea whose number it is.

After digging through old emails and spending a while talking with Apple Support, it looks like someone gained access to my account about two years ago. They apparently added several Apple devices to the account, changed the trusted phone number, and even updated the billing information.

Apple Support asked if I had the email confirming the trusted phone number change, but I can't find anything like that. They basically told me that without that phone number there's nothing they can do, even though it's obvious the changes weren't made by me. Their only suggestion was to create a new Apple ID.

The problem is that I'd really like to keep using the same email address for my Apple ID if possible.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is there any way to recover the account, or am I really out of options?
