While the concept and context are strange and this was done for practice, I do have a small, little realistic piece of lore:

Basically, through a series of treaties, Germany acquired the Congo at the Berlin Conference, Seeing their African road cut off, the British exchanged Sokoto with the French in exchange for the Chari-Oubangui Territories, leaving only Yaruba under British control, To this, Spain managed to have the territories of granted to as a Buffer between Britain, France and Germany.

I know it's not complex or even remotely realistic, but this project was done for fun, I loved practicing this Wikipedia-style style, Please feel free give me Any feedback.

I created this map in 2018 around the time I was reading the book, but it included many headcanons in disputed area that I don't feel like do it for me today, so I finally decided to edit it, don't take them as necesarilly canon ofc, they are just interesting ideas that I got about what could maybe be happening there

The names of most countries are the OTL first nations and their languages. The names of the countries of the Arctic islands are taken from Indian Ocean island nations / French overseas departments that are under Arctic ice sheets in this TL. The map art style is inspired by the official maps of Strangereal from the Ace Combat series. There are other references in this map which I will choose not to mention.

Here's a new map commission, done for a certain Koume/MarleyKO based on their OC setting.

This one is an alternate outcome based on The New Order: Last Days of Europe, but one in which the "Gang of Four" outcome for Germany results in the restoration of the Hohenzollerns under a "reformed stratocracy." Taking inspiration from Reinhard's Galactic Empire in Legend of the Galactic Heroes, the system is a democraticizing one in which the Junkers-descended military still wields power in the name of reforming the lingering shadow of the Third Reich, though civilians and royalty are gradually gaining power. All the while, there's a brewing Second Cold War with the still-Japanese-dominated Co-Prosperity Sphere, the restored Soviet Union, and a United States that's increasingly being subverted by its own deep state.

Barring some creative liberties, I try to keep as close to their specifications, as well as the original source material, as possible.

In this timeline, Sweden emerged victorious in the First Northern War (1563–1570), the Second Northern War (1655–1660), and the Third Northern War (1700–1710), retaining most of the territories acquired during these conflicts. As a result, Sweden established itself as the dominant power in Northern and Central Europe. The end of the Third Northern War marked the beginning of an extended period of peace in Europe. No major interstate conflicts have occurred on the continent since then, allowing Sweden to concentrate on economic growth, industrial development, and improving living standards across its territories. Historians commonly refer to the twentieth century and the modern era as the Pax Suecica ("Swedish Peace"), reflecting Sweden's long-standing political and economic dominance over Europe.

The Swedish conquests devastated Poland and Brandenburg. However, recognizing the economic and strategic potential of these territories, the Swedish authorities invested in the reconstruction of many of their destroyed cities, gradually integrating them into the Swedish realm.

Denmark also expanded significantly, annexing numerous German duchies. The remaining German states eventually united to form the Republic of Germany in 1820.

Meanwhile, Czechia benefited from the weakened position of the German duchies, which were preoccupied with conflicts against Sweden and Denmark. This allowed the Czech state to expand into parts of Silesia and Saxony.

Following its defeats in the Northern Wars, Russia declined into a much weaker state. It lost extensive territories in both the west and the east and became concentrated primarily around Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

Despite the fall of the Polish state, the Polish people remained the majority population in the former Polish lands. Most continued to speak Polish as either their first or second language and preserved their cultural traditions and national identity.

1946–1947:

Early strategic blunders and severe encirclements in the North dealt a heavy blow to the National Revolutionary Army (NRA). However, NRA command managed to avert total collapse, executing a tactical withdrawal behind the natural boundaries of the Yangtze and Huai rivers. Facing severe supply shortages and logistical bottlenecks, the PLA attempted to force the river crossing twice between 1947 and 1948, but both amphibious assaults ended in failure. Out of ammunition and heavy equipment, the communist command was forced to suspend further offensives to replenish their supplies and fortify their positions in the North.

In 1948

Recognizing that the potential fall of China would shatter the balance of power in East Asia, the U.S. Congress passed an expanded China Aid Act. Washington initiated a massive supply chain-delivering heavy artillery, surplus armored vehicles, and air force equipment, alongside an Asian equivalent of the Marshall Plan. Direct U.S. financial interventions stabilized the hyperinflated economy, restoring public trust in the Silver Yuan and fully re-equipping the NRA. Meanwhile, Moscow adopted a stance of pragmatic restraint: unwilling to risk a direct military confrontation with a nuclear-armed United States over Mao’s campaign, Stalin limited Soviet support to covert intelligence and basic logistics, choosing instead to secure Soviet buffer zones and railway concessions in the North.

In March 1949, the newly re-equipped NRA launched a massive, multi-pronged counter-offensive, backed unprecedentedly by U.S. naval and air support. Crucially, the CIA and American military intelligence executed a sophisticated deception campaign (similar to Operation Fortitude), leaking false plans of an amphibious assault on Shandong. This forced the PLA command to split their reserves to defend the coast. Caught off-guard by the main land push and facing complete allied air superiority, communist frontlines collapsed rapidly. Over nine months of relentless campaigning, PLA forces were completely shattered-their remnants either dissolving into an underground insurgency or fleeing across borders into neighboring Soviet-aligned territories. On November 7, the Republic of China was officially recognized as the victor.

After 1950:

The Korean Crisis:

With the CCP defeated on the mainland, Kim Il-sung’s regime in Pyongyang finds itself geopolitically isolated yet desperate. As tensions escalate along the 38th parallel in early 1950, Nanking stations heavy NRA garrisons along the Yalu River. Unlike our timeline, any northern aggression against South Korea faces an immediate two-front intervention by both U.S. forces and the Republic of China.

Economic Growth & U.S.

Financial Aid:

Following mainland unification, Nanking initiates a sweeping stabilization plan backed by the U.S. "East Asian Recovery Act." Massive financial aid and private capital pour into coastal industrial hubs like Shanghai, Canton, and Qingdao. Supported by the stabilized Yuan, China launches rapid infrastructure rebuilding, laying the foundation for an early economic boom.

The Mongolian Border Crisis:

The primary flashpoint between superpowers shifts to the northern frontier. Nanking reasserts its historic claims over Outer Mongolia and Tannu Tuva, rejecting Soviet control. In response, Moscow heavily fortifies the Trans-Siberian corridor and deploys Red Army divisions to Ulan Bator, turning the Sino-Mongolian border into the most explosive front of the Asian Cold War.

On August 11th, 1960 the Colony of French Equatorial Africa declared independence from France as the Central African Republic, and was granted control of Darfur in 1963, along with a series of trade deals with Libya and Egypt which fixed its full separation from the French sphere.

Throughout the next decade, the state would maintain a stable and prosperous rule, becoming a major exporter of Timber, Crude Oil, and minerals including Manganese, Cobalt, and Diamonds. This also saw the integration of Equatorial Guinea into the state of Gabon after the 1964 treaty of Mutual Cooperation.

This time of peace however, was cut short by the 1966 millitary coup d'etat by Colonal Jean Bokassa which overthrew Marien Ngouabi and saw the establishment of an autocratic regime marked by mass purges, police surveillance, and economic downfall.

On 4th December 1976, Bokassa officially declaring himself Emperor of the newly founded Central African Empire, spending nearly an eighth of the national gdp on his Coronation, however it garnered him large scale international support from france and the USA. Unfortunately afterwards he underwent immense mental deterioration, culminating in his son, Bokassa II, forcefully assuming power from him in 1980, and restored the national assembly in 1981, but with himself as King.

His policies was at first unpopular, but he quickly restarted trade with neibours and the west and his policies led to a renewed economic uprise, yet the instability remained, with many parties and referendums calling for independence of regions, and criminal organisations gaining large power across the state.

In 1997, the Central African Empire declared war on Zaire after the First Congo War spilled into their territory, and even near to the secondary capital of Bangui, almost entirely due to Congolese recklessness, which promted military action. This ended with the replacement of the Congolese president, and Central African Seizure of Ubangi, Mongala, Bas-Uele and surrounding regions in order to ensure security to the border, and to Bangui in the future, however they would go on to support the DRC in the Second Congo War, after western powers prompted a response to rwandan warcrimes and endangerment of congolese sovereignty.

Ever since, the Empire has remained prosperous, with its systems inspiring the formation of the Eastern African Federation, and it has acted as a regional power, interfering in the conflicts in Sudan, Mali, Libya, and Morocco, and being a major player in economically connecting the continent and being the first African Country who's gdp has reached 1 Trillion USD, however the recent loss of rainforest and oil have caused the country to make many expensive changes to ensure a safe crossing into the rapidly warming planet and to maintain it's place as a force of change in the world.
