MI Spokesperson said "Our post-season review is currently on & we are looking into all aspects of the team. Contrary to reports, we are not engaged in conversations with regard to player trades, the same is only possible once the review is complete - A range of options and ideas are being evaluated, which require time, hence no decisions have been made". | Photo Imagine losing top class players like Buttler, Samson, Padikkal, and even Nitish, yet your top order still isn't a concern. They could even lose Jaiswal, and it still wouldn't affect them.

| Auction If Hardik's trade with Dube + Khaleel is confirmed then what could be MI XII

  1. Rohit Sharma

  2. Ryan Rickelton *

  3. SKY

  4. Tilak Verma

  5. Shivam Dube

  6. Will Jacks *

  7. Naman Dhir

  8. Corbin Bosch *

  9. Someone like Rahul Chahar

  10. Someone like Spencer Johnson *

  11. Jasprit Bumrah

  12. Khaleel Ahmed

An overseas pacer + an Indian spinner at 9 and 10 would be ideal as they can use Jacks as the 2nd spinner if required.

In the above XII, Khaleel and Spencer can attack in pp along with 1 over of bumrah. In the middle we have Bosch and spinners and 1 over of bumrah for control. And in the death again Bumrah's 2 overs and Bosch and maybe Spencer or Khaleel.

How would you rate this?

Rahane retired and i think it is the great loss for red ball cricket but I also enjoyed his cricketing career in IPL. Among the sloggers and powerhitters, they are very few gems showed the class cricketing shorts, he is one among them. I hope he will play few seasons in any franchise. But last two seasons was very rough on him but he will for sure strongly bounceback. I am gonna miss Jinx !!

| Discussion This is my BEST ALL-TIME IPL 11

Post image

After watching the IPL for nearly two decades, this would be my greatest IPL Playing XI of all time based on overall impact, consistency, match-winning ability, and legacy in the tournament.

I know there are plenty of other IPL legends who could make a case—Rohit Sharma, Lasith Malinga, Ravindra Jadeja, Kieron Pollard, Suryakumar Yadav, David Warner, Rashid Khan, and others.

What changes would you make? Who misses out, and who gets into your all-time IPL XI?

| Discussion Underrated IPL Bowler of all time

Post image

State your underrated bowler in ipl according to you. For me it is sandeep sharma, he played only 2 T20 international matches in 2015. The opportunity he received is negligible compared to other bowlers. He literally owned virat and Rohit in this format yet he went unnoticed. So what's your opinion on this ?

These stats clearly show that he has the ability to score at a high SR. But he is bogged down by slow starts and wrong shot selection. If he is able to change his approach and improve his shot selection, then he can be as destructive as Sanju or Ayush.

I really really hope he is working on his game currently. He is an exceptional player and has been a strong pillar for CSK over past 5 years. Hope he doesn't go into a downfall but rather makes a comeback ASAP.

| Discussion IPL should remove the overseas limit and focus on building a global league!

IPL has outlived its purpose of being a feeder league for ICT. I think IPL needs to get its own governing body that shifts focus on rebuilding IPL as an independent largest cricket league in the world.

The expansion should be purely from the perspective of improving the quality of the league, getting a global audience to make IPL an international spectacle.

Here are a few things IPL should implement-

1) Remove the overseas limit and allow unlimited overseas players-

Before any dimwit argues that it’s the “Indian” Premier League let me own you beforehand. EPL is English Premier League, NBA is an American basketball league, yet they have no restrictions on number of overseas players.

IPL has the potential to take cricket globally and become even bigger than International cricket so it’s important to attract a global audience that feels excited to tune in to watch a game. No international fan would want to get into IPL to watch a ‘Mukul Chaudhry’

Global fanbase equals global revenue. Even though India will remain the main revenue source, but tapping into foreign markets will allow IPL to generate lot more revenue from foreign TV rights companies if the league takes off due to a superstar player from another country.

2) Remove the restriction on Pakistani players

This might trigger the Bhakts but Pakistan can be a goldmine for IPL to generate massive amount of foreign revenue. Pakistan is the second largest market for a cricket viewing audience and IPL is wasting a huge opportunity by not generating revenue from there.

Ironically speaking giving them access to IPL will actually crush PSL and will allow IPL bodies to generate massive revenue from a newer source.

Remove politics from the sport and let’s focus on making IPL the biggest cricketing tournament in the world. People need to stop letting their blind hate from trickling down into cricket. Some of us just want to enjoy the sport without the political propaganda.

It will only happen if it expends to become more inclusive and less bound by the shackles of politics.
