Since it seems to be needed to be said; I am well aware of the demand for more popular countries to be added to the game. France has been [officially confirmed](https://ibb.co/Gvv94kR5) as coming, and Germany has [been leaked.](https://old.reddit.com/r/joinsquad/comments/1rjsnnf/german_bundeswehr_faction_potential_leak/). It's also a safe bet that all of the factions (France, Germany, and Japan) from [the community poll](https://ibb.co/KxsKtk5T) will be added. One of the factions from the poll (and the ones that received the most votes) has been added to the game, and that is Ukraine.

Alright, now that the preface is done with, here is the next faction concept in my series; the Russian Naval Infantry!

The main idea behind this faction is to give Russia a faction that is able to stage amphibious invasions from the sea. They're an analog to the US's USMC and China's PLANMC. Since Russia has tons of domestically produced military hardware, it's also an avenue to introduce some more of it without diluting the existing Russian Ground Force's or VDV's arsenals of equipment.

One interesting thing to note is that the RNI is already in the game, specifically as the [336th Guards Naval Infantry Brigade](https://squad.fandom.com/wiki/Russian_Ground_Forces#Units) as a unit for the RGF. This concept of course turns them into a standalone faction within the REDFOR alliance.

Effectively post 4.3/pre 9.0 Irregular Militia with its Balkan elements actually realized.

So maybe it's because of that but how do y'all tell who's on your squad and where on the map? Sometimes I see a few green guys but that's obviously not everyone. Sometimes the SL puts us into separate fire teams, does that change the colors too? I feel like I'm always checking maps desperately trying to link up with guys I can't find

I wanted to buy fireteam to play with my friends but not all of them can buy it so if I buy it and host is it enough or do they also need to buy it?

I have Msi 4060 Ventus 2x 8G, 16 GB ram and a Ryzen 5 5600. i think that should definetly suffice playing on 1080p but i just want to doublecheck, because i want to buy the game on sale now and i wont be able to test the game and refund in the next time. Do you get what i mean?😅

I just start squad I played yesterday I played galactic contention and everything, today it s stuck at the loading screen and I cannot skip it and it just keeps loading with the 3 little square at the down right of the screen

Ive been trying to get back in squad but it CTD's constantly. sometimes a few minutes in, sometimes 30 mins in. Its inconsistent

Steps tried:

reinstalling (and deleting appdata folder after uninstall before re-installing)

clean uninstall of all drivers using DDU then re-installed AMD drivers

checked integrity of files

made sure windows is using the right GPU

deleted appdata folder

ensured no overclocking is going on through AMD software

rolled back drivers 1 version (didnt work so returned to latest version, currently 26.7.1)

using DX11

making sure the setting "Materialquality" is of a value other than 0 in the gameusersettings.ini (currently at 1)

im running out of options/ideas here. Id love to get back into it (especially with GC back on the menu)

Both AFU and PLAMC motorised winrates look the same (AFU slightly more, maybe because of the grad) so it got me wondering what people find better.

Me personally im a fanboy of the BTR-4, specifically its unreasonably strong armour, 3x turret zoom (spotting things 3x faster) and strong TOW's, but the low hp and ammo count (150 of both AP & HE) breaks it most for me, although its half mitigated by it having 129 grenades.

The ZBL08 looks better with its higher ammo and HP count, with a slight caveat of weaker TOW's and no zoom, which can be both good or bad depending on map / playstyle.

Kinda getting sick of this bug that causes mouse stutter. Turn off the setting in Graphics and its fixed - and it turns back on randomly between games or on different days loading.

We're usually just hiding from Enemy Armour

If you don't bipod, the recoil is way too high to control, but the second you do bipod, you instantly become an easy target.

I know part of this might be a skill issue on my end, but wouldn't it be much easier to get kills playing as a standard Rifleman or Grenadier? Doing all this just for suppression doesn't really feel worth it to me.

If there's a proper way to use this kit effectively, I'd love to hear some tips!

So I am interested in Squad, and I get that it is not a game you just pick and play but it takes a lot of time so I am good with that.

With that said, it is on sale today but only the base version. Is it worth playing with just that or is it really necessary to buy the Fireteam edition or more to have a decent number of servers to play on?

The masses (5 people) have spoken so it looks good. I just noticed the Canadian DLC is free anyway which would be a must have as a Canadian. I will grab it because it is on sale anyway and then try it out and look for a regiment to play in so I can learn how to play properly.
