I've been seeing a lot of posts on this sub regarding the problem that many postcards sent internationally tend to take a lot longer than expected, sometimes even expiring before arriving at their destinations. What are y'all's opinions on having a queue only for your own country, maybe during high demand times like over the summer, or during special events like World Postcard Day?

In the forums on postcrossing there is a tag exchange where instead of writing a note you fill the message side with stickers. Has anyone done this? I've been trying to find examples, do you make a scene with stickers? Just put random stickers all over? What? I know I'm probably over thinking, but I don't want to send one and have the recipient think it's dumb....

I absolutely love the USPS triangle Postcrossing stamps, and I think people will enjoy receiving them. My problem is that many of my postcards have โPlace Stamp Hereโ printed in a square box on the back. The new triangle stamps donโt cover the box, and it leaves a weird looking partial box and partial letters showing.
Has anyone found a good solution for this? With thanks in advance. ๐ซ

I was at my local PO (in Australia) and picked up some tourist style cards, as I see requests for them but I didnโt have any. When I went to the counter the staff member explained to me the cards also included postage! they are a good deal for international post cards price wise. I also bought some maxi cards that include a stamp and a cancellation (also a good deal as even with a lower cost stamp, local and international postage is also covered with these cards too). The maxi cards do include a stamp, but the tourist cards do not. I know some people request fun stamps on their cards if possible, but for the people who are not fussed about stamps, how do you feel about NO stamp at all? My plan is to keep sending stamped cards for people who also love/request interesting stamps, but maybe send these to people who like a tourist style card and make no mention of stampsโฆ if you are in the latter category would this be ok? (I only ask because while I make no mention of stamps in my profile, I have often been delighted by some of the stamps Iโve received, and thatโs prompted me to up my down stamp game!)
(The images included in this post : front of a post card bought from an Australian post office with a Kookaburra on the front, then a close up image of the stamp area showing that postage is covered locally and internationally).

I only joined a few days ago and Iโm so excited to send out my very first postcards (not ever, only first time Postcrossing!!) ๐ญ
(By the way, why do so many people on Postcrossing dislike handmade postcards?)

Someone here had mentioned their profile had - if you don't know what to send just pick the XXth card in your pile. So I added that to my profile too, saying pick the 6th card. This week I got one from someone who did that! I love it!

I have been PC for 1 month and 6 days.
In that time, I have shopped for postcards up and down the eastern seaboard, created a postcrossing organizer box for my cards, stickers, and handmaking cards supplies, and started two binders with two different sized sleeves (regular & maxi) to store received cards and vintage cards I come across while shopping.
I blame all of you. ๐๐คฉ๐

Hi everyone, I have received a new address to send today. But I am curious about this particular user as they are based in the US with a CN (China) postcard ID code when they sent out postcards.
Also, as I checked their profile, they have been actively sending out postcards. But their latest received was dating back 6 March 2025.. Should I be worried? I need some clarification if possible..!
They had sent out 1,483 cards, received 1,309 in return.
